CAUTION: Using this mod will brake Zoning Rules.

Both "Industrial" and "Low Density Commercial" zones will be disabled (red slash circle).

A Option only have a toggle for zoning on and off would be cool.

Nice mod and all but really at one point it just straight up stops from creating zone blocks at all. either i have it in 0 or 4, roads stop having zone blocks.

I have no idea if it's possible, but if we could create zoning much more like in real like, instead of just square blocks, that would be amazing. Not sure if this is possible through mods, but I know you can make it look realistic enough by manually decorating things. Making it function a bit like the Major Lords demo would be sweet.

What is the difference between this mod and Zoning Ajuster? Is here possibility to upgrade zone settings of existing road like in the Zoning Toolset?

Is it supposed to limit the actual zone boxes next to the road or only show you what a limit of say 2-3 would be? Only the 0 setting will work for me and not place any zones. 1-2-3 will show the correct area in blue but once placed there are always 4 zone boxes.

Awesome tool so far. I like it better than Zoning Adjuster tool.

I have an issue where my ground below the zone falls away (like a sinkhole) and then I lose half of that zone. I do not have Natural Disasters DLC. Will this help prevent the ground around my roads from sinking?

Suggestion: Add "zone lock" feature that can be toggled before updating the zone which will prevent the ground underneath from sinking and lock the zones in place. I couldn't care any less if areas outside zoning sinks. Just annoying AF when city building and half city is sunk.

It is a good mod, but I don't like how a road with no zoning will suddenly have zones next to it when connecting a road that does have zoning. For example, my 6 lane road has no zoning, but if I connect a 2 lane road with zoning, the 6 lane road in the area of the junction will suddenly have zones on it.

@LAF Games: Closeness is the tightness between squares in width. Depth is limiting in depth. Try the different options in mods and you will figure it out. I don't know of any mods that are creating zones randomly.

@Keallu: I don't understand. What does "closeness or the depth" mean? I'm talking about automatically changing the plot size randomly because, otherwise, the buildings grid size will unrealistically mostly be 4x4 in cities built in a grid pattern.

@LAF Games: It what sense do you want to change them? The closeness or the depth? Closeness is available in Zone It! but if you want to adjust depth you will need Zoning Adjuster mod.

@keallu Does this mod have the option to automatically change the zone size? I'm asking this question because the buildings are becoming an eyesore in terms of how much they vary. To clarify, I want a mod that automatically decreases the amount of duplicate buildings for cities built in a grid pattern.

@galileo12399 @Monarch Just for your information all Network Extensions 2 roads have now been fully replicated by Cylis without using the NE2 mod that is increasingly incompatible with other mods and no longer supported. You can use the RON mod to very easily and quickly replace your NE2 roads in game. For this reason modders are not likely going to be too concerned with putting in an extra effort to make their mods compatible with NE2.

When using zoning anarchy to add/remove nodes it works fine, but as soon as I turn off anarchy it just messes up all zoning like I never used anarchy. Is there a fix for this?

Rather than spacing rows and leaving them blank is it possible to leave a small gap. E.g. Sometimes I want to cram in as many 1x2 houses in a street of 2 deep zones. At the moment I have to manually paint in one house at a time and wait for it to spawn before doing the next. Your mod leaves massive gaps between the houses which defeats the object.

anyone know how to move the box? Also once a road is set you can't rezone unless you bulldoze it and reapply the road correct?

Changing the depth of the zoning doesn't work; it is always 4 deep. As is mentioned in the description.
You can still turn zoning on/off, space zoning, and toggle to not update other road's zoning.

Zoning Toolset only has the ability to toggle zoning on/off.

Really useful mod, great work! Unfortunatly it seems like it is incompatible with Network Extensions 2, experiencing some really weird zoning behaviour when using both mods. @PelusoNN this might be your problem?

Create idea, but suggest an option to only show the window when the road tool is selected. Also miss the functionality to force zoning on roads as some workshop roads come with zoning off per default.

This mod was working for me until I reinstalled Cities (and changed a few mods in the process) a few weeks ago. Following the comments here about re-enabling it, I noticed that doing so fixed this the mod but caused "Ploppable RICO Revisited 2.3.3" to fail to load as it was "unable to complete its required Harmony patches". I'm assuming this mod's Harmony implementation is causing incompatibilities.
