It seems to be incompatible with this module.
Mod sorting is useless,I think 【Mixed Stone Blocks】may changed the path of the texture.

By floors do you mean soil and rough stone flooring? If so, is it possible to make a separate mod for just walls retexture and another for tiles? Because im using LTO and I love that mod to death, but would love to have some new wall retexturing, good job on the mod anyhow man!

i too hope you do find the time some day :D well, that being said, theres vees apparel retexteur for clothing, vanilla weapons retextured and vanilla melee retextured for weapons(old but still working), hc animal reskins complete 2, cattleyas reskins(flora, production, furniture, animals);
i found those fitting to this, and theres erens face replace, or HD faces if you like manga, also jabbamonkeys graphic overhaul retextures food and resources and other items, will styleclash with most modded items tho.
- those are all the "quality reskins" i know of, if you like it fitting to this.
add realistic gun sounds to that(also old but working), realistic human sounds, bullet casings and yayos animation. maybe blood and stains.
ai upscaled textures too, ofc, and animated marshes, realistic darkness lite.
hey, the game doesnt half bad now ;)

@jackyboah69 Thanks for the compliment. I'd love to re-texture everything but it's so time consuming. I do have mods I haven't published but these alter and not appearance. A WIP I have is separating the Civil, Rough and Savage factions for each tech level into separate cultures; just immersion stuff really.

@Tanyami. I've added the option to build those walls out of stone and wood. The issue with the vertical walls was to do with the overlay which i've removed for now. This should remove the blocky effect. I might go back and look at the metal support beams another time.

I like the new textures, I have a few problems with it though.
When the colony walls are used vertically, they dont blend together nicely, like they do when placed horizontally, which makes for a very blocky look overall.
I have also noticed that I'm not able to build the colony, industrial and cargo walls with stone blocks anymore, now I do not know if this is intended or not, but those were my main go-to for stone walls, so I find it a bit sad to not be able to build these anymore if the removal was intended.
Also the beams on the end of the blocks, like for example on a wooden wall look quite nice, but for the industrial walls I find them to once again make everything look very un-smooth.

In any case, next to that I really like the new stone classic, ornate and smooth wall textures, as well as the new barricade textures.

@Drew Carey Thanks for the feedback. I did make an effort to have the terrain textures blend and was happy with the result but it's not for everyone. The 50% overlay sounds interesting and i might explore that when I come back to this mod to update the walls. Not sure when that will be though.

On one hand, super nice and clean. Everythings gritty, stylized, darker and detailed, I love it.

On the other hand, ROUGH. I want to love it, but its so hard to see things like gravel when all the textures both blend and clash. Might be just me, but its so much. Makes it amazing looking, but hard to play and seperate things. Something like the vanilla textures, with these plastered over at 50% transparency would probably look amazing, but that'd take more time than I'd imagine its worth.

@joga_bonito. I'm sure there is a way for that to be done, but it's beyond my skill as a coder.

You could create a local version of my mod and then find the texture you don't like and delete it. It will revert to the vanilla texture. Just make sure you enable the local version and not the steam one in your mod list.

Or you could create your own mod that literally just has your own concrete texture with the same file location and name and have it load after mine. This will overwrite my texture.

so i loaded yours as more priority and it replaced the walls like i wanted them to but overhauled my terrain mod, if i load ur mod as the least priority, i have my terrain mod work but yours just stops to work entirely, i want to have them both work together is there any way? thank you for helping me

@Sannestia I did look at CCP's stone tweaks. The only issue you should come across is that you won't have my flooring options for his custom stones (blue graphite etc). This is probably something I will patch in at some point but right now i'm busy just enjoying the game.

@HeyItsVia. The lower the mod on the list, the higher priority it has when loading. This mod only replaces the old textures with my own. If you load another mod after mine (ie lower in the list) that tries to do the same thing, it will give that mod priority, so my textures are overwritten.

ill sub to keep an eye on this mod but can you please make this to only retexture the walls, i have the legacy terrain orerhaul mod and i love that mod but want a good mod that retextures the walls because i hate how boring vanilla walls look, please i love these texture walls and would just like it only for walls please thanks!

@MasterOfBacon Im glad you like the mod. As for making an alternate brighter version, I think you mean making the colours more saturated to obtain something a little more colourful. This would be a nice idea but it wouldn't offer much beyond what this mod offers and I would likely have to adjust many of the other textures in the game to achieve a consistent affect. (like benches and plants and clothing). It would take alot of time and I dont have much of that these days.

I worked out what it was on my end.

The pack Vanilla Textures Expanded has a hard patch hidden in it, where it patches "marsh" terrain with effects similar to the old 2017 mod "Animated Marsh"

This adds a shiny, glossy appearance and also a lens flare affect when zoomed out.

My reinstalling of RW after already removing the VTE and its patch fixed the issue, not because I reinstalled this mod, but because the patch altered the core file, and reinstalling after removing the VFE one removed that effect.

It was also incorrectly applying the "marsh" animation to every single body of water, giving it the shimmering sheen, on top of any texture changes or effects that any other mod may place on it... I'm putting this here so hopefully others can see this if they also have this issue!
