This asset is sooo close to being awesome. However, the huge drop on the train lines is a problem, as is the fact that the metro lines are broken when this thing is installed.
If these two things are fixed (one poster below fixed the train, for example), this this is an auto-include in any city.
Right now, stay away unless you're willing to edit by hand.

Every time I try to put the metro line through it says "space already occupied", how can I fix this ?

Hey ChiliadSun! I was having an issue where the underground tracks had a very steep slope to the station tracks that was causing my trains to get stuck... I managed to fix it opening up the station in the asset editor. I moved the nodes of the sloping tracks further out and added additional underground tracks to give it more length, and now my trains are working just fine! Is that something you'd be interested in looking into?

Anyone figure out how to fix the slope too steep problem?

There seems to be a metro station bug. It allows metro line to pass through (without a stop) but if I choose to have a stop at this station it won't allow me to complete the metro line. When the line comes back through the station to close the line, it's not possible to connect to the next station.

Any chance you could make a non-station version of this building? It's one of the best buildings on the workshop, but it causes some issues as a station. I'd love to use it as a museum or gov building instead.

The model is absolutely STUNNING. its a shame they ever demolished this gorgeous building.

BTW, I just tested it ingame, it seem to be a conflict with Extra Train Station Tracks mod, I"ll put a warning in the description. So I guess eventually I do have to replace those tracks. They are from vanilla Mass Transit station. Unless some authors is interested in converting it to ETST, I can send the source files

@WTC1973 Initialy I did research on how to place train tracks underground, but it was too complex, and if I recall correctly you need to do a hex editing to allow pedestrians to walk, embark/disembark trains. Which I was unable to to. So I used a sort of a duct tape method hiding the tracks under the building on a ground level. But it just works *happy Todd Howard face*

Just a small suggestion, if it's alright, can the tracks be transferred to underground and, again if possible, longer? Still, other than that, model's brilliant.

Having issues with the subway station only allowing stops on one side of the subway track. Is it supposed to be this way or is anyone having this problem as well?

You should put a section in the description detailing how to hook this up to a (vanilla) subway network. It is absolutely hairy hell to integrate.

To those having trouble placing this asset: I was able to place it on uneven (not level) terrain easily, but could not place it anywhere on level terrain. @ChiliadSun Thank you for this, and your other assets. They are elegant !!

A small bug. Says the slope is too steep, on 100% flat land in the middle of said flat land million of light years away from the ocean. And yes, I have fine road anarchy.

Someone really should rework the station part of the station. Also the integrated metro station completely breaks the metro overhaul mod. The model is awesome though.

Looks great, but doesnt work. Cant connect tracks to the station without anarchy on, and even then the tracks dont get used, and I cant connect lines to it.

no one is using the train station. If I place vanilla station in the area, lots of people will use it, but after placing this and connecting a line, no one is using it.. why is that?

Can not create a new line or move an existing in the station, the internal management of the station is impossible otherwise beautiful building. Thank you

Beautiful, but Penn Station has through-running tracks, and 2 subway sations (2 parallel at either end). For CS, it should be equipped with 4 subway stations, 2 each perpendicular to each other.

i figured out how to place this asset. In order for it to be placed the terrain near the train tunnels has to be lowered for the building to be placed

zach The platform in the front is metro/subway. For the train tracks in the back you need to pull down train tracks to the tunnel and connect it underground.

First, beautiful mod! It's bittersweet to see it digitally when it's gone in reality. But, how do we connect lines to the station? I've connected rails to the underground connections but there's only one platform that it lets me connect train lines to (the little platform in the front).

Am I doing something wrong?

I've been waiting for someone to make this since I started playing the game.
