Nice collection of puzzles! First one is deffo my favorite, Always love in and out sequences. I also quite enjoyed the second one as well, very good!
mabelpines 12 Mar, 2024 @ 7:38am
in my opinion, the difficulty 3<2<1. or maybe it's because i get some hint in last chambers
great puzzle!

@SpielSatzFail
I think you're not the only one to have found room 1 to be slightly more difficult. Maybe I should have rearranged the order! Thank you as always for playing and for the fav!
SpielSatzFail 29 Aug, 2023 @ 6:47pm
Great set of chambers.
For some (unknown) reason the first room was the hardest for me ^^' the solution seemed quite tricky, especially in relation to the simple design.
The second room had some nice portal management.
The third room was in fact the easiest for me, haha.
It was a nice journey that gets my thumbs up as well as a fav :steamthumbsup:

@Aneonen
Uh, are they? When I started using portal magnets, I remember I used to not configure them properly which could have led to some issues, so maybe... Still, thanks for revisiting this one!
Aneonen 22 Apr, 2022 @ 9:24pm
Played this one long ago, and enjoyed it - it was nice to revisit. Am I nuts or are all of the portal magnets slightly off-center? Was this an old BEE error?
Joric 16 Dec, 2021 @ 12:43pm
Replayed today. Solved every room as intended. Whoa. I'm definitely smarter than I was back then.

And thank YOU for playing and leaving a comment!

Really nice set of puzzles, I think the second was my personal favourite. Thanks for making :steamthumbsup:

@Andy T
Well done! Room 1 is probably the hardest, although by a fairly thin margin
Andy T 14 Aug, 2021 @ 10:57pm
Clever, cleared Room 1 still halfway on Room 2.
Leo  [author] 22 Feb, 2021 @ 3:12am
@Spider_Dawg
I rewatched bullfrog's solution for room 1, I still find it's a clever alternative indeed! I'm happy to hear you did the last move in room 2 the better way too! Thanks for playing and leaving a comment, I appreciate it :)
Spider_Dawg 21 Feb, 2021 @ 3:39pm
Very nice set of puzzles, just the right amount of difficulty for a Sunday evening. I think the first room might be the toughest, but only because of a slight amount of skill required. I like Bullfrog's method in the first room the best, I did it the same as your solution video. End move in second room the way Nock did it. Thumbs up!
Leo  [author] 3 Oct, 2020 @ 11:43am
@bullfrog
Oh that's a clever alternative! Thanks for recording it so I can see it. I wish there were a way to prevent the lucky lack of bounce in the 3rd room but at least it shouldn't happen too often. And since you realised the safer way too, it's all good. Anyway thanks for replaying!
bullfrog 3 Oct, 2020 @ 7:39am
Just watched your walkthrough; I did the first room by a slightly different method, but I don't think it breaks anything: alternative method ?
bullfrog 3 Oct, 2020 @ 2:44am
Still a great set of puzzles and, looking at the comments, I agree with @Joric's rating: "difficulty rating: 5/10, 4/10 and 3/10 accordingly." I got really lucky in the third room on the last move as the cube fell and stayed on the button without the aid of the funnel, but then I realised the safer way just after I did it.
Dark Rozen 1 May, 2020 @ 4:24pm
Just replayed it to see what was good. Everything pretty much. except those trapping situations, they need fixing.

@kwinten
:p2aperture:
Joric 6 Sep, 2019 @ 11:26am
I'd vote for that as for the best map of all time.
Dark Rozen 6 Sep, 2019 @ 9:11am
7/10 is well to high for any of the rooms, I would say 2.5 for them all, maximum.
Leo  [author] 6 Sep, 2019 @ 8:35am
@BehindPortal
I would agree that if anything, the 1st one is probably a bit harder than the others, but 7/10 seems a bit high to me :P anyway thanks for playing and for the fav!
BehindPortal 6 Sep, 2019 @ 7:49am
i found first room - 7/10 second room - 5/10 third room 3/10 :p2blue:fav:p2cube:

@Dark Rozen
Thank you for playing, the area you mention never struck me as dark but I'll go back to it anyway.
Dark Rozen 11 Jun, 2019 @ 10:03am
Cool maps, took me about an hour overall. The second one took me the longest because I couldn't work out how to use the funnel to get into the middle area . I like how you reused every element. The area in the third chamber by the funnel i thought was a little dark.
Leo  [author] 9 Apr, 2019 @ 11:14am
@Anpy
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! Your suggestions are interesting, they would indeed allow the 2nd room to be a bit more elegant, but at the moment I have no idea how I could implement them without making the puzzle impossible. I guess I'd have to make big design changes, which I don't know if I'm willing to. But I'll give it some thought, thanks :)
anpy 9 Apr, 2019 @ 5:42am
That was a really great map! Every puzzle was very clever and had me stuck for a while. My favorite one has to be the third puzzle. I have a few suggestions for the second puzzle though: You could remove the middle part of the portal surface near the entrance to force a more elegant solution instead of shooting many portals to get up. The last move is a bit awkward to setup with the portal on the floor, so why not put the exit button on a wall instead? That said, I still had a lot of fun. Thumbs up and favorite :)

A nice collection of maps - Thanks for suggesting :)

@Midd
Thanks for playing and for the kind words! Haha I like these moments when you first think it's impossible and then it suddenly makes sense :)
Yeah personally I don't really have a problem with the move you mention, I guess it's a bit unfair to you that people's been complaining about it in your map and not here... sorry!
Midd 22 Mar, 2019 @ 3:57am
Amazing puzzles, I love the logic of them all, especially the third one. At first it seemed impossible to get up in the third room, which gave me a wtf-is-this-moment, but then it all made sense. I thought the first one was the hardest for some reason.

And I find it funny that noone has mentioned the final move with the cube for the second puzzle (3:16 in the solution video), when many people had issues with it when I used it in one of my own maps :(
Leo  [author] 22 Mar, 2019 @ 1:41am
@Expat
Haha you're not the only one to try and do it this way. Thanks for playing.
Expat 21 Mar, 2019 @ 10:19pm
At the end, tried to just drop the cube - took me way too long to think of reusing the funnel. :steamfacepalm: I hate my brain at times.
SilentHorizon 2 Mar, 2019 @ 6:30am
Thanks man, i didn't see there is a solution. :)
Leo  [author] 2 Mar, 2019 @ 3:27am
@Teo
Thanks a lot for replaying it! Glad you enjoyed it so much :)
@HBZK100
I hope it wasn't too frustrating... you can always peek at the solution to help you (video is in the description). Thanks for playing anyway!
Joric 1 Mar, 2019 @ 9:13pm
@HBZK100 must be bad puzzle then, thumb down.
SilentHorizon 1 Mar, 2019 @ 8:54pm
Can't solve this puzzle, 2 hours strait basically and I cannot get past the first room.
Teo 1 Mar, 2019 @ 7:42pm
I replayed this map today and I enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first time. I did have to entirely redo my solution of the second chamber because you moved the white surface near the exit back, but the intended solution was a lot more elegant than mine :P
Leo  [author] 16 Feb, 2019 @ 12:57pm
@Joric
Wow thanks a lot for the praise, your enthusiasm makes me happy :) I'll see what I can do about your alternative solution, though I feel like cube throwing may not be worth breaking the geometry of the map... according to your difficulty ratings, the average of all 3 rooms is 4/10 so I guess I got it more or less right! As always, thanks for playing and leaving comments.
Joric 16 Feb, 2019 @ 9:30am
My difficulty rating: 5/10, 4/10 and 3/10 accordingly. Room 3 was the easiest for me, don't know why, when I got to the top I thought well shit now the hell breaks loose but it just ended.
Joric 16 Feb, 2019 @ 8:35am
Played room 2 differently: https://youtu.be/hL8cVuDw90A maybe put that funnel a little bit higher.
Did I say Leomievs is a genius? I play 2 years almost fulltime and only made 2 shitty remakes.
Joric 16 Feb, 2019 @ 8:02am
Haha! Done! Didn't take long. Best map ever. Came here from friends top rated.
Joric 16 Feb, 2019 @ 7:44am
2nd room passed! I feel like I'll fucking DIE in the 3rd room.
Joric 16 Feb, 2019 @ 7:17am
Holy crap, there are THREE rooms? I just barely made it to one. The aha moment was crispy clear. Thumbed up.
Leo  [author] 9 Feb, 2019 @ 9:50am
@SunnyOST
Happy you enjoyed! And you're absolutely right about the angled pieces in the 1st room, I forgot about those. Will remove them. Thanks for the comment!
SunnyOst 9 Feb, 2019 @ 6:42am
Great map! As of lately got used to short levels, so got pleasantly surprised, twice :D Literally the only critique I have is that the angled floor pieces by the doors in the first room probably aren't worth the glitchy overlapping textures.
Leo  [author] 9 Feb, 2019 @ 5:46am
@Narkodes
I think the 1st and 3rd rooms are better too, so I understand. Glad you liked it overall! Thanks for playing :)
Narkodes 9 Feb, 2019 @ 4:38am
First and third room were very cool. Not too hard, but I had a good time :) The second room wasn't my cup of tea, it was just there. Definitely thumbs up, will check your other maps too.
Leo  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 3:02am
@Little Wheatley
Congrats on solving it eventually! I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you too for playing and for the kind words :)
