This is awesome! Any chance for a prop version of the tram in the near future?

@REV0, This is awesome for my old city! Any plans for other old transportation systems? Something like the Wuppertal Schwebebahn?

It’s all good, just make sure to double-check the descriptions of all the very complex assets before you press “Subscribe to all”, at least you managed to fix the problem.
GaborBartal 16 May, 2019 @ 11:30pm
True, this particular asset does have it in the description; my bad. I used an asset pack to subscribe to (or whatever they're called), the description of which did not mention it at all, hence the confusion. It was in my disappointment that I noted the names of the slow assets in the game to find the Steam page for them (like this one) to also comment the same there, not just the main asset pages(packs?), but my bad. The point is, if it was mentioned in pack description ("Subscribe
to all"?) which I guess is the way most people would get these, instead of going to 2-3 dozen asset pages to subscribe to each, then some users would not get into this confusion like I did. Changed the dislike to like now regardless

Basically what everyone said but just read the description of every complex asset you can never make before subscribing to it.

@gabor - set your funicular trains to 500 km/h speed - they won't block your passenger trains. plus you can have and should have 2 seperate train systems - 1 for cargo and 1 for passenger trains. that's if you don't want to have AVO mod.
otherwise just read at least the latest messages or comments.
REV0  [author] 15 May, 2019 @ 6:13am
Since you copy pasted the same message in every funicular asset I will do the same. Descriptions of funicular vehicles cleary state that you should disable regional spawning by using Advanced Vehicle Options.

Fact that your train network "is wrecked" is not because of assets, it is because you are incapable of reading a description given to you and accomplish a trivial task.

And as if this is not enough, you are straight lying that you read it. If you have read them, you would have disabled them via AVO and never had this issue to begin with.

Gèze  [author] 15 May, 2019 @ 6:09am
Somehow almost five thousand people figured it out, but you're special enough to not understand simple things, like the fact that this is still a normal train vehicle and needs to be assigned to a proper line while being deactivated from auto spawning in AVO.

And that fact by the way, IS MENTIONED IN THE GODDAMN DESCRIPTION:

"2. Use AVO (Advanced Vehicle Editor) to disable funiculars from spawning regional lines. So they wont be used by the game for outside network."

So use those eyeballs you have and READ instead of complaining about made up problems.
GaborBartal 15 May, 2019 @ 2:21am
Disliked it because simply subscribing to any Funicular asset (vehicles) makes all trains in new/existing savegames to randomly use these slow vehicles on normal train tracks, e.g. in place of external connection trains that the game spawns. This wrecks the whole import/export system as it slows down the whole network automatically, therefore it breaks (this way) the game for ALL users who download it. This fundamental issue is not mentioned in the description or faq link or comments, which is my main problem.
macluk 22 Oct, 2018 @ 11:43am
Bugger... I'm inpatient... Sorry. But that solves two issues at the same time!
Thanks for your time and payience. I have AVO and i will certainly look into that disabling option. It's wonderful!

(Having said that... it must look great, that little pernicular "train" running 500 km/h :))
REV0  [author] 22 Oct, 2018 @ 8:24am
Asset tags on the right side of the page already indicate that it's a train, so I assume it's a train, yes. If you used funicular network before, you should also know it's based on train network because it was the most convenient.

In addition to this, I already explained in the description that you should use Advanced Vehicle Options mod in order to disable it from regional random spawning because of exact issue you mentioned.

Any vehicle that is disabled in AVO can be assigned/spawned to custom train lines, which is how you should use any funicular vehicle.
macluk 22 Oct, 2018 @ 8:16am
Can you tell us... if this vehicle is treated as a train... Will it span on train tracks as a random train as well, after being downloaded? That's what usually happens and the game doesn't allow to block specific models even with lower speed limits (as in vehicles of a certain max speed below ... say 50km/h cannot enter this track - simply doesn't exist in the game which is a shame)... I wouldn't like to adjust this model to a speed of 300 km/h running like a headless chicken around my city from one outside connection to another, in order it didn't block other high speed trains :)

@Revo thank you! I'll wait with impatience.

Great job! What is the station on the first screen shot? It looks like the station for this vintage funicular. Do you have a plan release that station?
