It does not use the real space system scale, but the star and Ringworld are out of position. If it is huge, such as a G-type star, Ringworld spans the star.

Ringworlds appear inside stars with only Real Space, no System Scale.

Taken from the Gigastructural Engineering discord changelog for the latest release:
• The Compatibility patches for EHOF and Planetary Diversity, Guilli's Planetary Modifiers or Real Space have been integrated aswell, this may cause some errors in the error.log file if those mods are not present, but these errors will have no impact on gameplay or performance

All fixes, of course, works only for new structures.

Most of issues (like exploded structures and disconnected rings) can be fixed manually, by editing txt files of GE mod. Just divide orbit_distance value by 6.
Also, for some structures like ring worlds, mod Increased Ship Size 2 helps miraculously.

I did a check, seems that the author of system scale is looking into the issue as a good number of folks there are getting the base game issue, It may be the simple systems themselves spawn as if it was a normal one then the rings follow the mod format but that is just a guess. It may also be a conflict and this just happened to be the issue, but this hasn't corrected the visualize issues, at least the base ringworld appearance.

Aye Android, i didn't have this mod installed yet, but i did have Real Space and System scale installed, and i had the ringworld-far apart thing.
By that it seems that this mod is not the culprit for that at least.

Yea, I use RS + RS system scale and many of the megastructures are wonky in my current game. Ring worlds are off sized, matro-brain is clipping the stars, etc
