I just built the base game apiary today and I don't think I have any mods that make changes to it.

I'm not sure about my version of the kitchen garden, but I've had it a while. I'll try removing it and re-adding it.

EasTxRedHead - Are you using the most current version of this mod? The unintended honey production issue appeared in an earlier mod version, after a base game update, but was fixed shortly after. Or are you using any mods that do changes to the base game apiary building?

Each of my kitchen gardens show production amounts of honey, along with the fruits and veggies. The amounts increase through the season, but the honey is never taken to the barn.

HaTsUnE_NeKo - You can control and/or micromanage the garden production with these buttons. Coloured buttons are active (on); greyscale/sepia buttons are inactive (off). You can have either vegetable or fruit production or both at the same time (vegetables are more productive at cooler temperatures, fruits love hot temperatures)

* The storage capacity has been increased to allow for larger gardens and an error concerning global limits is now fixed.
Production should be normal again. Note that if your workers can't collect the produce quickly enough and fruits or vegetables start to pile up, production will still be affected when the limit is almost reached (800).

* I have added water evaporation for a bit more realism and to counteract overpowered production during summer in large understaffed gardens.

* Missing planters should now be a lot less likely.


If your garden(s) are still suffering from production glitches, please try:
- Toggle fruit and veggie production off and on again or pause/unpause
- Clear any residual honey from the garden inventory
- If all else fails, a complete re-installation of the mod is probably necessary (delete mod folder # 1156516019 before reinstalling)

Thanks for reporting all irregularities, I wouldn't be able to fix the bugs without your great support :-)

Adding, depending how you placed the garden and where the gates/ openings are I find placed right villagers use them to walk through it.

Друг мой ! Гугл плохо переводит. У ванильных полей ведь нет проблем с температурой, и они работают постоянно.) Игра ведь в первую очередь должна приносить удовольствие, а разного уровня сложности, это не существенно.) Вот ты просто представь, что ты создал теплицу, которая даёт урожай круглый год. И нет проблем зимой.
Мне нравится то что ты делаеш, и успехов тебе в дальнейшем ! Только сними сезонное ограничение.)))))

Titan - Excuse-moi, c'est parce-que je ne comprends pas ta lange que je n'ai pas répondu à ton feedback.
Oui : En hiver, tout come les champs et les vergers, le jardin ne produit pas des fruits ou légumes. Ce n'est pas prévu pour un changement, comme cela serait irréaliste. Si tu préfères des mods qui rendent le jeu moins difficile, il y en a quelques très bons mods qui te permettend d'ajuster certains aspectes du jeu :-)

Yes, just like the fields and orchards the garden does not produce crop during the winter, and I will not change that, because it would be unrealistic. If you are looking for mods that make the game easier, there are a lot of great mods for adjusting the game aspects to your own preferences :-)

Ami ! Tu n'as pas compris que je viens) J'ai ta ferme est désactivé températures supérieures. Mettons les choses au point. l'hiver je n'ai pas toujours le + 20. Et en hiver, la ferme ne fonctionne pas. C'est ton vrai problème. Mets le travail de l'année. Et pour tout le Bonheur !

Спасибо за мод. Но мои поселенцы живут в тропиках и зимы там НЕТ !!! Поставь только температурные ограничения, а не сезонные. Ферма просто отключается в + 20

The production of fruit in a garden over one year is roughly the same as from an orchard of the same size (same with vegetable production which is similar to a field with potatos). If you find your orchards aren't yielding enough produce, it is in most cases due to loss of harvest in the authumn (where sometimes half to two-thirds of the complete harvest is lost!) One way to optimize the fruit production by orchards is to start harvesting earlier, in summer or late summer, or as soon as about half the fruits are ripe. The trees continue to produce more fruit throughout the autumn, and you don't lose as much to cold temperatures.
Also, orchards should always be built in a size that allows the maximum number of workers relative to the number of trees - you don't need all the workers assigned all the year, but during harvest times it is crucial.
Another good way to increase harvests is to build the castle and research the technologies related to food production :-)

New building: A kitchen garden
* is sizable (like fields, pastures etc.), the minimum size is 1 cell (6x6 tiles)
* Grows vegetables and fruits: Both can be activated or deactivated; when the garden produces only veggies or only fruit, the yield of that produce doubles.
* Gardeners work in the garden to water the plants and pick the produce
* Produces about the same amount of food over one year as a potato field of the same size would
* Production from spring to autumn increases and decreases with the temperature. High temperatures favour fruits, vegetables like mild temperatures best.

This mod has been beta tested (thank you very much Jaunitta) - should somebody find any problems, please report them.
