Damn. I found this mod and was rather happy about it until I noticed it's for an old version.

Great. Thanks for the permission :)

@Oreno - Sure!

@XeoNovaDan Hi XeoNovaDan, i'm interested with this mod idea. i'm making an animal surgery addon for my mod and wish i can use this mod idea on my mod. can i got your permission to use this mod idea? with credit of course.

Hi @XeoNovaDan Recently Combat Extended was updated to 1.0 and your mods (I believe this one and Vanilla-Friendly weapons) have compatibility however they are still B18 version and won't work. Is there any chance you'd be able to please update these? I just wanted to know so that if not someone else may be able to give it a go. Thanks heaps :)
jpinard 13 OCT 2018 a las 2:16 p. m.
That would be awesome :)
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 13 OCT 2018 a las 1:44 p. m.
@jpinard - Although I haven't really used animals too much, I do kind of miss this. If I can get around the maintenance part of this mod, I may resurrect it, complete with auto-patching since my C# knowledge is now good enough for that.
jpinard 13 OCT 2018 a las 12:59 p. m.
I like your approach to this so much!

Pardon me - I just installed this mod and Animal Armors. I'm trying to perform surgery to put armor on one of my dogs, but the only operation options are to use Flake, Flu-EZ (since I have those in storage), and Euthanize by Cut. I have the armor in a stockpile and a medical bed for animals. Since the only operation options are those, I think the mod I'm having trouble getting to work is this one, not Animal Armors. Any clue what's going on? Or am I totally missing something about how to perform operations on animals?

I understand, thanks.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 13 FEB 2018 a las 3:44 a. m.
@superresistant - Fair enough, this is just an alternative to ADS for those that don't like the 'one size fits all and therefore DPS is always going to be the same regardless of if it's a squirrel or elephant' philosophy. Comparing my approach to spoonshortage's approach, both have their pros and cons
superresistant 13 FEB 2018 a las 2:01 a. m.
The 5 sizes is too confusing. Too many items and it's not intuitive.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 14 DIC 2017 a las 2:20 p. m.
@Robutt I may look into it at some poin then. All surgery chances are identical, as in correspondent to their human equivalents.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 13 DIC 2017 a las 7:02 a. m.
@Robutt It is? I may take a look into it if I ever become fluent enough with C# - right know, my knoweldge is extremely rudimentary.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 13 DIC 2017 a las 2:44 a. m.
@Robutt I could look into asking the ADS Easy Patcher person to make something similar to this. The only possible issue with that is that this mod might be too low in terms of popularity for them to bother with, so I don't know if it'll be worth me asking. A quick comparison:

A Dog Said has 56,756 subscribers.
This mod only has 733 subscribers.

Assuming that the subscribers are mutually exclusive, that's a total of a 57,489 people that are subscribed to an animal surgery mod of some sort. ADS takes up 98.7% of that market share; this mod only takes up the remaining 1.3%.

@SingABrightSong @Vedrit Updated. Sorry for the delay!
SingABrightSong 30 NOV 2017 a las 11:24 p. m.
@XeoNovaDan: It seems to occur when Combat Extended is present but not active, say, if someone were subscribed to it on the Workshop but playing without it while awaiting an update. I was enountering the issue, which was resolved by unsubscribing from CE.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 30 NOV 2017 a las 12:27 a. m.
@Vedrit That's unusual. It works fine for me and I don't have CE present on my subs or in my 'Mods' folder.

If Combat Extended is not installed (which it is not, because CE isn't B18 compatible yet) a number of errors get thrown by this mod.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 18 NOV 2017 a las 9:14 a. m.
@Vroom Galaxy Life animals won't have installation recipes, but the game will still work. Nobody's made a patch yet, and I'm not taking responsibility for other peoples' mods.

XeoNovaDan  [autor] 26 SEP 2017 a las 4:02 a. m.
Fixed in v1.0.2, and you're welcome :)
Baguettedood 26 SEP 2017 a las 4:01 a. m.
No worries. Thanks for the mod.
XeoNovaDan  [autor] 26 SEP 2017 a las 3:43 a. m.
@Baguettedood Just checked, turns out I've made an oversgith in the recipe defs. Thank you for posting, I will fix that right away!
Baguettedood 26 SEP 2017 a las 2:11 a. m.
I think I installed a new liver for a labrador retriever of age 3 quadrums, but I'm pretty sure it replaced the heart instead. The bill said something about "install liver (heart)". Can anyone confirm?
