We need an update for this mod. Half the stuff isn't working anymore, and this is one of the best overhauls for the tech and weapons in the game.

@Punch All major mods for the game are rotting corpses sadly. IDK why the community died but all the cool well made mods haven't been updated since 2018, sometimes 2020.

I have a feeling this mod isn't being updated anymore, but if it is, for some reason when I use the arcane science wing in a ship it becomes unable to take orders, any fixes or is it just a problem with the mod?

Anyone else not getting their bonus from their Heraldry? I picked 'A Bot' to start with access to semi-automated tech but i still have to research it normally

hello, i know this is right after the update but i have encountered an issue regarding the mod, mainly the fact that its not loading, as it says that it failed to load in the mod manager in the game. mainly it comes up with this in the description:

Unknown dependency: ARTICULATED_MACHINERY

the tri-legs and stilts seem to always fall to the ground and then pop back up at the start.... How do I fix that?

love the mod, but the cult tech line is gone. Now a miss understanding what do the on board labs do? I have an idea that they increase the tech speed but im not sure

Campaign technology buffs: So far, if I choose a campaign starting bonus that is a technology, they don't work. I've tried the strange coils and the spiderlings starting tech, and they are not unlocked / aren't available in the ship builder.

First of all, very good and interesting mods.
Secondly, I am just wondering. I do not know if this was you intention, but you seemed to have made Piecemeal Subspendum Engine, while smaller, somehow seem better than the traditional smallest lift device; the small suspension chamber, to the point where people like I see no use in any situation actually using small suspension chamber

I hate shilling but since I enjoy this mod;

The Growler engine and Kraken are busted. This means certain enemies utilizing the Kraken cannot spawn it, and the player cannot use the buildable kraken module.

this is simply caused by the skins these items link to, requiring an unobtainable tech. I've patched this in the newest Yellow's dependencies https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2561738474

modding might be fun but this game has serious json file issues

Fun fact:

This hot fix was brought to you by Khohjix, for literally finding the problem after I mashed my face into the keyboard trying to "fix" the AnimationAppearance files, thinking that was the issue.

This game really needs filepath prefixes for its errors...

There’s a manual fix, just make a copy from “AppDataRoamingAirshipsGamesteammods” for editing.
In the mod's "Shouts" folder, there are 4 broken .json files that need brackets at the beginning and end of the files (Google “json editor”) Insert "[" at the beginning and "]" at the end. "Robot.json" additionally needs the following line: "name": "robot", inserted after the first curly bracket so it looks like:

}
]

After replacing the shouts files, I pasted the edited mod folder in “Roaming\AirshipsGame\mods”. Paste the folder “Professor_Aluminum” not “MOD-...”. I moved the mod to prevent Steam from reverting the edits, and I also unsubbed from and deleted the original “steam\mods” copy to avoid potential problems with having both the edited and original ver., but this may also be unnecessary.
Hope this helps, and I'll try to keep up with any questions/problems.

ok so this definitely has to do with the most recent update to the game so we'll have to wait for him to update it but it should be easier for him now as we told him what exactly what might be happening from our error messages

So the mod says loading failed every time I load it. It says A jsonarray text must start with '(' at 1(character 2 line 1) and every ship that uses it is unloadable.

So I'm not sure if its just the mod or me but when ever i load up the mod is seems to break bringing up this message flunkystein.json: A jsonarray text must start with '(' at 1(character 2 line 1) along with several others which are robot, scientist, and werewolf all with the same message

hey, i try a conquest start with the werewolf charge (the werewolf starting bonus that lets me immediate access too the lycanthrope studies tech), but when i get ingame, i dont actaully have the tech, and cant make use of were wolves. any idea whats causing it? is it a mod conflict?
