Hotfix 1.6.1 ---------------------------------------------------------

  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed bug where player would not get wall jump back or leave the parachute state after rocket jumping.
    • The character select icon has been reverted after accidentally being replaced by the playtest icon.

Ver 1.6 --------------------------------------------------------------

  • General:
    • Score now displays in the results screen!
      • With the recent workshop update, we are now able to make animations in the results screen, meaning that I can now replicate the AW results screen properly! Here's how it works:
        • Speed: How quickly you win the battle.
        • Power: How much you dominated the match and how efficiently you took out your opponents.
        • Technique: How many stocks you had remaining. In addition you get bonus points for playing stylishly.
  • Attack:
    • NAIR/JAB:
      • Gave rockets hit lockout: 0 > 10.
    • UTILT:
      • Sweet spot and rising hitbox now in the same hitbox group.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed bug where rocket jumping did not work while invincible or team attack was off.

v1.5

  • General:
    • Reduced base movement speed: 4 > 3.5.
      • Players have not been utilizing rocket jumping as much as I would have liked, causing rockets to be used directly as a projectile more often than was intended. In order to incentivize decision-making regarding mobility vs offense, I have reduced base movement speed by about 10%.
  • Attack:
    • NAIR/JAB:
      • Self damage hitbox base knockback increased: 10 > 12.
      • Self damage hitbox knockback angle changed: 361 > 35.
        • This improves the utility of rocket jumping as a movement option.
      • Hitstun modifier on explosion reduced: 1.0 > 0.5.
      • Hitstun modifier on direct hit reduced: 1.0 > 0.7.
        • While landing attacks with the rocket should be rewarding, it was a bit too rewarding, which encouraged rocket spam instead of thoughtful use of projectiles. These reductions put hitstun more in line with base cast projectiles.
    • FTILT:
      • Startup increased: 4 > 8.
        • Mech's main get-off-me tool was too mashable once an opponent managed to close the distance on him. This change puts his ftilt more in line with those of other characters with similar moves.
    • UTILT:
      • Quality of Life: Right stick and strong inputs can now also be used to charge UTILT.
      • Removed rising hibox when used without ammo.
    • BAIR:
      • Startup reduced: 9 > 8.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed bug where the end of game score would occasionally flash on during online play.
  • Fixed bug where the APC would still move if another mech activates Double Time.
  • Fixed bug where the the outline would sometimes not reset after Double Time ended.

Attack:

  • DTILT:
    • defense_modifier increased: 0.75 > 1
    • max_hp decreased: 20 > 15
    • APC now stops completely when it hits a player.
    • Apc now takes damage every time it hits a player.
    • The APC was intended to be a powerful stage control option, but it was far too oppressive. To remedy this, it no longer plows through players and is much easier to destroy.

    • Taking damge (negative).
    • Losing stocks (negative).
    • Using your CO power (positive).
    • Rocket jumping (positive).

    • Time freeze during CO Power startup now affects projectiles.
