SSL Mech

Description
Fighting for the Orange Star Army, the Mech (short for Mechanized Infantry) can wall out his opponents or push in for the kill with his bazooka!

The Mech is a zoner with below-average speed and above-average weight. His kit mostly focuses on walling opponents out and edge guarding, but he can opt to trade health and resources to instead push forward with a strong burst movement option: rocket jumping!

Notable Moves
NAttack - Bazooka:
The Mech fires his bazooka. On the ground it fires forward, in the air it fires down at a 45° angle. The rocket’s explosion can hit anyone, including the mech! If he’s out of ammo or already has a projectile out, he instead pulls out his side arm for a quick shot.

UGround - Rocket Jump:
The Mech fires his bazooka at the ground, hitting opponents with the powerful backblast and sending him flying into the air. This move can be charged like a strong to gain extra height! If he’s out of ammo, he can still use the move, but doesn’t jump.

UAir - Parachute:
The Mech pulls a parachute to send himself up, which has a powerful hitbox as it opens. Once open, he slowly drifts down and can continue to fire his bazooka as long as he has ammo.

DGround - Call HQ:
The Mech kneels down and calls HQ on his radio. Normally, this calls in an APC, which can resupply his ammo if he stands near it and is a powerful tool for taking space, but be careful, as you can’t fire your bazooka while an APC is on the field. However, if the CO Power meter is full (see below), he instead reloads all ammo and activates his commanding officer’s CO Power: Double Time.

CO Power
As the Mech takes and deals damage, his CO Power meter fills. Once full, he can use DGround to activate Double Time. While under the effects of Double Time, he moves faster, hits harder, and takes less damage. Note that it takes some time to activate this power, so be careful about when you activate it!

Ammo
Firing your rocket launcher requires ammo. The Mech can hold 3 rockets at a time before needing to reload. To reload, you simply need to hold crouch. But if time is of the essence, calling HQ for an APC can replenish all your ammo at once!
