Update: 7 Jul, 2021 @ 5:32am

- Backend cleanup of the scopes

- Changed the super scope overlay to one that's cleaner and appears more precise.

- Minor backend refinement to UI selection

- Changed the font on the minimalist UIs; it's much clearer now

- SelVision UI! Not 100% happy with it, but it's at least fully functional. Hopefully, I'll be able to clean it up a bit over the next few updates. It's also not exactly the same as the original SelVision; I changed a couple of things to bring it more in line with the rest of this mod (and hopefully improve it a little).

- Added backend support for finding dino diet strings and their current AI target, for the SelVision UI. Note that I've had to manually override the correct diets for some creatures (rock elementals, for example); if there are any that seem to be incorrect, please tell me and I'll add them.

Update: 21 Jun, 2021 @ 6:15am

WARNING: Those who have played with Cupvision before this update will have their scope and implant UIs reset to the default
sorry about that

- Added GPS display; displays both player position and target position
- includes different styles depending on the UI selection

- Increased the size of both UIs. I'm not really sure why I had them so small.
- Included small versions of both (basically just the same as previous), in case anyone preferred them smaller.

- You can now select separate UIs for the binoculars, scopes, and implant.

Update: 14 Oct, 2020 @ 5:56am

- Binoculars and advanced scope should now work properly if you're already holding aim when equipping them

- Fixed the ocular implant keybinds breaking on re-connecting to a dedicated server. It's another hack fix, but it finally works.

- Other minor backend refinements to ocular implant

Update: 24 Sep, 2020 @ 4:53am

- All items are now crafted in-hand, because Ark is fundamentally broken and mods can't reliably add things to crafting stations. >:|

- Changed how removing the ocular implant works; there is now a keybind for it (currently ALT-BACKSPACE). To make sure you don't do it by accident, you have to hold it for 5 seconds. This is in preparation for yet another attempt at making the damn buff save/load properly.

- The ocular implant now takes a portion of your current health instead of your maximum health. It still hurts, but it's much less likely to kill you (note: it can still kill you if your health is particularly low - i.e. single-digit).

- The ocular implant finally saves and loads properly. Huzzah.

Update: 18 Aug, 2020 @ 1:35am

- Turned the floating HUD display back on for the Binoculars v1, so that they're not objectively worse than the spyglass

- The stat UI should no longer target dinos through obstacles

- Vastly improved stat UI dino detection. It should now correspond fairly accurately to the visible dino, no longer suffers from the "stickiness" it previously had, and is much more precise. This makes it much easier to target different dinos that are close to each other.

- Latest iteration of implant buff persistence hacks: now the removal item will automatically use itself (without inflicting damage) if it detects that you do not have the implant buff

Update: 12 Aug, 2020 @ 11:43am

- Fixed: when riding a dino, the stat UI would only display your stats

- Added support for displaying the tribe and owning player of the target. Currently only the tribe is displayed, and only on the minimalist UI.

- Binoculars no longer stack.

Update: 11 Aug, 2020 @ 10:22am

- The stat UI can now display the stats of other players.

Update: 8 Aug, 2020 @ 6:44am

- The ocular implant removal item now remembers which one you had installed between saving and loading. This means you can use it to restore your implant after saving and loading your game (i.e. quitting and restarting singleplayer, or after restarting your server). It will still do the removal and install damage, however.

- Binoculars v1 level requirement increased to 52, to match the GPS level requirement (one of its prerequisites)

- (Re-)added target locking; hit your HUD info key (H by default) to lock the current target. Useful for reading the stats of small, fast creatures.

- Added a display of the current and maximum speeds of the targeted dino, as well as its current movement mode (walking, falling, flying, etc.). Currently this is only on the "Minimalist" interface - I'll add this to the "Super Scope" one as soon as I can figure out where it should fit. Note that the numbers given for maximum speeds aren't always 100% accurate: some dinos may vary (e.g. Trike's charge).

Update: 10 Dec, 2019 @ 12:07pm

- Fix: the binoculars no longer interfere with the implant
- Added a HUD message for when you enable/disable the implant Stat UI
- Fixed: the implant night-vision upgrade required 5 of the attachment, when it should have been just 1
- Refined targeting behaviour; the interface (etc.) should now only appear when you are actually looking through the binoculars/scope, not during the targeting animation.

Update: 8 Dec, 2019 @ 7:37am

- Added the ocular implant, including 2 upgraded versions using the 2 upgrade attachments.
