Commissioned by White Star Line to Harland & Wolff Shipbuilders (Belfast, Ireland) to be constructed in 1910. Yard Number 422. Hull number (UNKNOWN).

Launched: April 25th, 1911.

Completed: May 27th, 1911.

Ready for sailing by May 31st, 1911.
