Does it add horatio tech that allows you to turn other pops into your main pop? I checked and gene splicing trait adds splicing but not pop onversion.

This is a trait for new races, not for heratio though.

Pretty nice for a gene hunting faction, it always bothered me that a custom faction would not get this. It does not work for a non gene hunting faction though, the "transformation" icon does not show up. That's okay though.

This is the special tech of heratio, it allows you to chang populations to your origins.

What does "Genetic Recoding" do?
