Kingmaker: Greater Subject Control (Outdated use 2.2 Version)

Description
(This mod is outdated please use Kingmaker 2.2: Greater Subject Control.)

Have you ever noticed that the "create vassal" button seems to create a state with no real connection to your government nor its ethos? Have you ever wanted greater control over your vassals for role playing reasons?

This is an experimental mod that allows you to select an edict on any world that has xenos on it and release it as a vassal state with your goverment type and your ethos.

It is very new, in alpha one might say, but I will try to improve it if people show interest.

Known Bugs: Do not use on a planet that is only your main species, that causes issues.

P.S.

Check out my other mods for Stellaris, called "Planet-Wide City Mod" and "Borg-Style Hive Mind".

@TurtleShroom

I have updated this mod to 2.2, but uploaded it as a new mod, because the features are quite different and I want to distinguish them. Search for Kingmaker 2.2: Greater Subject Control. Thank you.

This Mod is coming back to my rescue now that Paradox bans the individual release of planets and eliminates Sector control or manual creation. I'm going to test it on V.2. and see what happens.

Would it be possible to give us options to choose the ethics (and maybe government authority) of our newly made subjects? Because when I play as a Xenophobe I'd rather not release Xenophobic vassals.

I added tributaries functionality, I am still working out kinks, but at least tributaries can now be created.

This sounds amazing, thank you for such a significant and small change that i've always wanted.

This is cool. I was wondering if you could add functionality to be able to release Tributaries as well, and give Tributaries parmanent Independence Guarantees from their masters? Would be a very nice option.

This might work because i tend to turn my sectors into vassals when I can. Nice having fleets i dont have to pay for.

Just dropping a comment to express my interest in this. I haven't tried the mod yet, but I intend to do so in the near future and have long felt that the functionality it provides should exist.
