2.1 Pacific Landing: Forlorn Bay

Hey everyone! I’m back with another editor scenario, this time set in the pacific theatre! As I had trouble uploading it myself, Pershing helped me doing so. Many thanks to him for support and advice. Also many thanks to Alldaboss, who created the map and allowed me to make this scenario on it and share it with all of you.


Scenario:
It is early 1945, the US Navy is island hopping using both the Army and the Marines. About a week ago this particular island was targeted by a Marine night raid. Even though the marines managed to destroy some of the beach defences, they encountered heavy Japanese resistance and were forced to pull back from the island. Gliders with supplies crashed in the jungle and the surviving crewmembers are now being held prisoner at the airfield. The US Navy doesn’t take this lightly and will now go in with their full force. They will make use of support by the Air Force and will fully support these landings with rocket strikes and tanks. A major marine force will land during daylight and attempt to capture the airfield and eventually the whole island. On this first day you will be witnessing their attempt to capture the airfield. This bay is the only suitable landing ground on the island, and is already being nicknamed ‘Forlorn Bay’ by the troops, as they are the first to enter this breach. The Japanese are dug in deep into the jungle and will not give up their positions lightly, flush them out with any assets given to you. Clear out all enemy forces and secure the airfield. Good luck, Marine!
This scenario is without objectives or victory conditions, you can play this any way you like.

@S-Sgt. Adams Thanks, I did notice this myself just after uploading this. However, they're supposed to be inactive, so I left them this way.

Hey, just a FYI, one of the FlaK 41's are teamed on the americans, not the japenese, located on the left side of the beach head -facing towards the island- and to the right of the beach head -facing towards the water- hope this helps.

Had a lot of fun with this. Only issue was I wasn't able to capture the objective at the end. So I couldn't actually end the mission. But still. 9.5/10 was good fun.

well before i installed this mod I verificed cache of the game and system all is good i dont have any other mods but this happened since i installed your mod so...
