Censored Violence

Description
This mod disables dismemberment in the game, and is inspired by the original draft of the Conan books by Robert E. Howard. It's not a very well known fact, but Howard actually originally intended the books to be targeted to children. It would feature Conan and Thoth-Amon in a competition to build the biggest sand castle, and the sand castle building was very non-violent. No dismemberment at all during the sand castle building. The books would actually explicitly explain that no one lost any limbs while building the sand castles.

The mod should be fully compatible with the game as of 03/03/2019 and modifies one blueprint file:
- Content\Characters\CharacterAssembleLibrary.uasset

I like the idea of this mod! (But I must say: I very strongly disagree about Howard's targeted audience. Pretty raunchy for youngans even today; the 1930's it was almost considered hard core porn! But I did like the cartoon that WAS for kids in the 80s though.) Cheers!

I was looking for something like this {an arrow cutting a body in half? C'mon!!!} sooo bad... a pity has been discontinued. An uodate or a mod like this would be sooo necessary!

Thanks alot for sharing what file had to be edited to disable dismemberment!

Helped me alot making it work in my No More Blood Mod. =)

Sorry, but I don't have the SDK or the game installed, and I'm not planning on going back to it.

I could link my reference for how I made the mod, if you or someone else is familiar with Conan Exiles modding. It's fairly easy to make.

Could U Update when You Get a Chance? ... Our Server still used this mod... to help Cut out the Exploding bodies upon death. Thank you. :steamhappy:

I just updated it. I don't have the game installed so I can't thoroughly test it myself, but it should be fine again. Hopefully, it isn't often that the mod becomes incompatible. It's really fiddly to update considering the Conan Exiles SDK is 180gb and is extremely slow to use on my PC.

I can confirm what @tobysz28 said, This crashes our private rented server as well as any SP games we have. LOVE this mod, makes my wife comfortable enough to play this game with me XD, please fix it!
