List of Easy and Hard Achieving games (Updated Dec 2020)

This guide will focus on:
-1) Games with easy achievements
-2) Medium games that you can achieve and enjoy
-3) Games to avoid with broken achievements or just unfair!
I will mention other topics and will update this guide
I have also added games for the lazy achiever (starting the game or just idling). I know some have been removed and will fix them

Average Completion rate
Average completion rate:
-Simply stated: on average what percentage of achievements do you generally get?
-What is the best way to raise it? You have 2 solutions:
-1) Play easy games which will raise your Completion rate. This can be a good strategy to raise your score quickly.
-2) Play Old games with bad stats which is a better strategy. Consider the following examples:
-I have 10% completion rate in Game 1
-I have 100% completion rate in Games 2-10 (9 Games in Total)
What would my average completion rate be?
10% + 9 (100%)/ 10 = 91% Completion rate
I would need 9 Perfect games to mitigate the damage to the 10% completion rate

What would happen had I worked on the game with bad stats and had only 6 perfect games instead of 9?
-I raised 10% completion rate game to 60%
-I have 6 perfect games
My Completion rate now would be:
60% + 6 (100%)/7= 660/7=94.28% completion rate
As you can see, the second strategy works better. However, you should definitely play easy games
Note: as long as you gain 1 achievement in any game, it will count even if u refund the game! (Keep that in mind).
As a joke, Math is not completely useless.

-Counter Strike Global Offence: Either you love this game or hate it. There are many people with 100% status. I do not own this game.

What Games fit this category?
-1) Games with Broken achievements (The developers should really fix this)
-2) Games that require well over 1000 hours!
-Garry's mod: While the game is fun, it requires over 7000 hours to earn 28/29 Achievements. Unfortunately, one of the achievements is broken!
Okay: some people say this achievement is not broken. You have to play with the developer to get this achievement. However, there is no guarantee that he will play it. In my opinion, that fits the impossible category.
-Team Fortress 2 : Great Game overall. However, 4 broken achievements.
Note: Apparently, the 4 achievements are not broken in all countries. If you do not have access to youtube, it is possible you will not get the 4 achievements. (Thank you NeoHz).
-Left 4 Dead 2 : One broken Achievement
-Paladin : Apparently, there is a broken Achievement for playing with a friend.
-Age of Empires 2: It appears that the broken achievements are fixed for now.
-Counter Strike Source: 1 broken achievement.
In summary: I am neither going to buy nor play these games. I prefer not to edit files or use other people's saved files.
-Shower With your dad: While having only 22 achievements, Shower With your dad has 3 broken achievements. Congratz to the developers!
-DiRT: Rally - it's impossible for new players to get 'Play the game in Early Access state' achievement, unfair much?
-Candy Blast: Broken Achievement. Need I say more?
-Unturned: while this game was originally very easy, this is no longer case. New achievements are not so easy to earn.
-Mausoleum of the Medusa : The developer wants to add harder achievements.
-Universe sandbox: This is a masterpiece with no broken achievements. However, it requires over 7000 hours of game play (no hacking)
-Rising Storm : apparently this game has broken achievements.
-Hate Plus : This game has a broken achievement. 0% of steam users have one of the achievements. (Thank you Atrocity)
-Phantasmal: achievements are VERY RARE and vague. There are no descriptions from the developer(s).
-Some games that require Multiplayer servers: I have heard that Batman's Multiplayer server's are shutting down. Therefore, if that is the case, you should get as many multiplayer achievements as possible. Otherwise, avoid starting that game

Note: They are good games. However, when a game has broken achievements, I become very disappointed with developers. They can just delete the achievement.

Note: The broken achievement in Civilization 5 has been removed. YAY!!!!! You can now 100% it. Estimated time should be 400-500 hours.
