Desktop Doodler Experiment

Description
!! READ FIRST !!

This background is not perfect when it comes to its interaction with the desktop ( as windows comes with its own interactions ) but I thought it's still an interesting experiment ( thus the title ).

The background is basically a basic drawing canvas to draw on your desktop. Works best on empty desktops as you wont be dragging icons around by accident. Or use fences like me to hide all your icons.

To use: Move mouse to left or right border of the screen and select the pencil to draw. All buttons have tool tips to help.

Options:
- Draw in different colors
- Change background color
- Erase
- Clear All
- Disable functionality ( this way you wont draw then dragging icons over the desktop )

Update Notes:
- Gave the disabled button a lock icon, and the clear canvas button got the close/delete icon.
- Clear canvas button now asks if you are sure you want to delete.
- Added some colors.

Man, this is fucking awesome! It would be even cooler if I added the brush size and transparency (at least the brush size).

@Kentucky Fried Chicken That would be because this was meant as a quick test wallpaper, which is written in javascript. And the basic drawing functions in javascript does not come with flood fill function ( the bucket tool ).

i love this idea im just curious if there was a reason for no bucket tool? i think it would make it a lot better.

@Squee ahhh i gotcha. that would be pretty annoying & hard to fine-tune, i completely understand. i still greatly appreciate the wallpaper, thanks for answering : )

@chemical inhaler .. Nope. The wallpaper can't just access to your drive or interact with your OS in an way but is contained within it's only environment. The storage I can use as some limitations and even though I did look into it, there were cases where I could not guarantee the image would be saved. I did not want to make something like a save feature which you should be able to depend and have it be a feature you can't depend on.
