Hey guys! Here's my second XCOM 2 mod that I have been working on, it's the rifle that ADVENT Mec units use but I have made it so that you can use it on your SPARK units. :D

I made this mod to provide a standalone version of this weapon as existing mods only apply the skin to your normal weapons. While this is awesome and pretty clever I didn't want to download the many prerequisite mods I would need just to get this weapon in my arsenal so I figured I'd try my hand at making a weapon mod.

As far as I can tell everything seems to be working as intended, I've spent most of tonight testing it and I think it's about ready for release.

There are two versions of this weapon the magnetic version and the beam version. You unlock the base magnetic version when you obtain your first SPARK unit I felt that by that time the player would have probably already unlocked magnetic weaponry so there wasn't much point in making a conventional version.

You can obtain the beam version upgrade by normally researching your beam weapons, it will then appear in Shen's weapons list where you can buy the squad upgrade. Both versions of the gun comes with the suppression ability just like the originals do and I have balanced their stats with the default spark weapons in mind so they shouldn't seem too out of place or overpowered in your loadout.

Magnetic weapons can be got within the first hour of the game anyway so it's not such a big deal.

the magnetic tier seems to immediately instead of after i unlock the mag cannon? they conventional tier also seem to not exist

Too strong? It's a reskin of the normal Spark weapons? It's only as powerful as the upgrades to the base game weapons you're running. :P

Too strong for infinite weapon, maybe make MEC Gun like a Talon Pistol from ADVENT Duelist mod?(Opens after ADVENT MEC Autopsy and can be crafted by one and upgraded in engineering bay)

If, as mentioned in my first post, if you use the Configure Upgrade Slots and assign 7 upgrade slots to each weapon, you can create some pretty OP weaponry.

In the Configure Upgrade Slots mod, adding the aforementioned lines into the XComUpgradeSlots .ini file in the config folder, you can equip all 7 prototype upgrades onto the ADVENT Mec SPARK Rifle.
