Passive Cuties

Description
Note: Not fully compatible with Frackin' Universe at the moment. The AI becomes friendly, but FU enables touch damage and I don't know how to turn it off again.

This mod changes the default spawning parameters to make the following vanilla unique monsters use "passive" behavior:

Gleap
Poptop
Sporgus
Toumingo
Quagmutt
Bulbop
Lumoth
Narfin
Peblit
Iguarmor
Fennix
Pulpin
Squeem

That's all. It doesn't make the entire universe passive, just a handful of the cute little unassuming things you may encounter.

I just noticed that pulpin is no longer in the 44th position in the spawntypes array. I wonder if the skimbuses around asteroids will attack me now.

currently testing to see if this mod makes capturing these cuties impossable.

Is this still working properly with recent versions of the game?

Personally, I'm fine with just catching some and bringing them along with me every so often. On the lower level planets I sometimes go unarmed and have them clear everything for laughs. On a side note, it does get annoying when poptops start singing and then abruptly stop to turn around when I bring them out, so this would help in that regard. I don't suppose this carries over to the variants brought in by FU? (For example Knifetops) I don't know how much code they would share, but I'd imagine not.

Contact damage doesn't exist in vanilla, you have another mod adding it. (This is something Frackin' Universe does, notably.)

This seems great! How do I download it?

Thank you! I agree with Doctopus, the peblit releif is amazing.

I love this mod. Having those creatures be passive by default is a huge breath of fresh air, especially early game. Passive Peblit (that indestructible tiny cyclops rock piece of ****) is something I appreciate a LOT.
