Mobile survival base with no mods
The ship is able to fly in atmosphere (just)

A ship I desinged to use as a smallish mobile base in survival. I tried to make it as small as possible while still being very functional so that you can quite easily build it as a base on a planet and then leave or as the first large grid in space or on a moon.

It is able to escape/fly around in atmosphere (drymass + 500,000 kg) using hydrogen and 2 large atmospheric thrusters, but can only really move forward or up unless you add an extension using the connectors and merge blocks on the side

2x Missile turret
4x Gatling turret
2x Interior turret in the bridge
2x Jump drive

4x Assemblers w/ 3 power modules
2x Refiney w/ 4 effectiveness module
6x Oxygen generator, 2x hydrogen tanks, 2x oxygen tanks
2x Large reactor
4x Large cargo
16x batteries

I left off any solar panels as they are mostly circumstancial and a personal choice. There is a lot of surface on the top that is usable for panels.

External merge blocks and connectors on the bottom and sides and connectors in the hangar.

Dry mass: 2,791,552 kg, can fly in atmosphere with aproximately 3,300,000 kg (by calculations)
