Description
Update 30-10-15:

-Added overview LCDs in alignment with pilot view if inside the cockpit. Installed MMasters configurable LCDs
and the Mahriane Multiscreen Manager.
- Added 4 more forwarding thrusters for better handeling.


Vanilla, Survival and Project Exodus[project-exodus.de] Ready

The MAH - T16 "Albatross" B is the large sized Variant of the 3 Run-A-Bout Class Vessels Mahriane Industries invented and the first Project Exodus small Vessel using a Turret.

Its 4 Main Engines enable the Albatross to get wherever the pilot wants to get, as fast as possible, while its 4 Large Cargo Container provide a massive amount of space to maximize the income.
Mahriane Industries standardized features like the Maintenance Projection and a fully installed remote GUI that enables the Pilot to control his Ship from nearly everywhere (inside antenna range).
The Payload Transfer Adapter installed at the top is able to dock with any Project Exodus Payload Transfer Port and ensures a clean and fast transfer of Payload and Currency.


The Onboard Computer is predefined with 4 different Modes:

Docking: A Docking Distance indicator is activated, the Main Engines shut off automatically to enable precise manouvers and the Docking Connector is turned on. Weapons are deactivated to avoid accidential damage on Personel and Stations.

Flight: Main Engines are turned on, all non required hardware like Landing Gear, Docking Connectors, Payload Transfer Ports, Indicator Lights aso. are deactivated to safe power.

Combat: Weapons are turned on, indicated by a red Spotlight frightening the enemy.
All non-required systems are turned off to get as much power as possible for thrusters and engines.

Trade: Activates the Payload Transfer Adapter at the Top, as well as a light to get a better view on the Payload Transfer Port while closing in. Can be accessed from the Outside through Button Panels.

In Addition:

Silence Mode: The Signiture can be reduced by deactivating beacon and antenna.

The LCD MultiScreen Manager has been installed as well as MMasters Configurable Automatic LCD Script to provide quick and optimal information directly inside the pilots View.
The Vessel is also equipped with 2 additional programmable and 4 timer blocks for Future inventions.


The best choice for High Budget Traders. This Ship is exactly what you need but you can't afford it yet? Check the unarmed T-16 or the smaller Variants T14 "Pigeon" and T15 "Pelican".

Yeah, that was my idea. In my experiments with small ship hydros, there is no setup that I've found that is economincal or efficient, mostly because of the hugeness of the H2 tanks, whereas a single large thruster and basic components on the large grid have no problems over a vast weight range. I've seen a number of Ion/Atmo combo ships on the workshop in the past, such as the Drozd. Might be worth some experimenting.

Never tried, maybe the atmos might bring you high enough that the IONs are enough to do the rest.

Right. Well, I don't end up using this one until well after I've started in an EEM game, so at least for the T-16, it might not be a bad idea. Also, since I've started in space, my issue is getting down safely, primarily. I'm cruious to know if just having a few large atmos pointing down, leaving the large ions to do the maneuvering, would be sufficient for an orbit to ground and possibly back mission?

Nope there's none existing for i lack the space for enough Hydrogen tanks. Maybe replace 2 of the large cargos on the T16 and maybe it will be enough for a single orbital flight before refueling is required, but as they're not really survival ready i did not upload my hydro versions.

I dont suppose there's an atmospheric-capable version of the Ablatross and its cousns, is there? I'd like to visit a planet, but I suck at redesign. :(

@Leonser For evading hostile npcs, did you try turning off your antennas and beacons?

Only pirates has these turrets. Tha bad thing is - they add it specially for smallship pirate drones =/
Why? Why not using manual weapons + sensor? May be new, cheaty NPC sensor with 500-1000 m range, hidden for players in G-menu =/

I guess for the moment we have to deal with it ;) Just happy that there are turrets now for small schip traders to be not completely unarmed.
