Description

The Snakebite series is a collection for the stealthy hunter. The design is themed around a snake leaping through plants and striking at its prey, and uses the Patina and Gunsmith style to enhance the metallic pattern.

Update 20th Nov 18:
Just fully repainted the USP-S as an experiment to see how it'd look with a new process.

Update 12th July 17:
Well now it's definitely been 2 years since I started work on this, and approaching 2 years since the M4A1-S was added! Haha, What a trip!
So... normal maps are here!
The Snakebite/Golden Coil skins were all hand-painted so it took quite a few tests to figure out a good approach to making normal maps for them. What to emphasise and how much... Or whether to add them at all! Anyway, I've started to include normal maps in the series, giving Valve the option to use them or not.
Kicked it off with the accepted M4A1-S Golden Coil, and I've just added a normal map for the USP-S, AWP and MP7 skins.

Update 7th Dec 16:
Can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I started working on this collection. So much has happened in that time! To see out 2016 I wanted to create another version of these skins with oriental dragon theming.

Update 29th Oct 16:
Another addition arrives, the AUG! This is the first new weapon skin since the AWP.

Update 3rd Sept 16:
Wow! It's been almost a year since the M4A1-S was added to the Shadow case and this collection's well overdue for some updates. Learnt a lot over the past year of skin-making so for starters I've just revisited the MP7, updating it with a Gunsmith style skin.

Update 5th December 15:
After many requests and a huge motivational booster from the M4A1-S release, I've added an AWP to the collection! I'm really proud of this one, and designed it to decay in a way that removes details progressively, so it looks sweet in other wear states as well.

Update 18th Sept 15:
M4A1-S Gunsmith Gold HAS BEEN ACCEPTED FOR THE SHADOW CASE!!! :D
Wow.
I've been working on this set on and off over the past 9+ months, trying to iterate and improve... It's so rewarding to see one make it into the game. Thanks everyone for your support, and thanks to Valve for selecting it!! :D
