The Imperial collection is influenced by classical design and patterning, I wanted to recreate and adapt this style in a range of guns for a modern (or even futuristic) empire.

I'm using different colour schemes to represent different ranks in the empire. Dull and desaturated with cheaper metals through to high contrast builds with a strong colour accent.

This originally started because I wanted to further explore the copper skin wear I'd been playing with in the Golden Coil (Snakebite) collection, while also taking the classical style in a more angular and densely detailed direction. The copper wear in gunsmith/patina styles seems like a really cool avenue, bringing out the oxidized green colour (copper's patina) when fully battle scarred and potentially giving them a bit of a value boost when fully worn.
