WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?

Eating my own words, this mod replaces Imperial helmets, shields and swords with items based on those used by 1st Century AD Roman legionaries. It also adds heavy armour to Imperial patrols. All items are craftable under the Imperial crafting menu.

Changed items:

- Galea helmet: replaces Imperial Light Helmet
- Galea with lengthwise crest ("Imperial Optio"): replaces Imperial Medium (heavy) Helmet
- Galea with transverse (i.e. "centurion's") crest: replaces Imperial Officer's Helmet
- Black "attic" helmet: replaces Penitus Oculatus helmet

- Oval shield: replaces Imperial Light Shield, field officers only.
- Red AND Black Imperial Tower Shield ("legionary" scutum): replaces Imperial Heavy Shield.

- Imperial gladius: replaces Imperial sword

New items:

- General's "attic" helmet: Only given to General Tullius

- Penitus Oculatus Tower Shield (based on Morrowind Imperial Tower Shield)

- "Wibble": upgraded gladius, based on my personal legionary sword :)
- Imperial pugio: New dagger

Spawn probabilities:

- Red shield: 2/3
- Black shield: 1/3

- Heavy armour: 1/6
- Studded armour: 1/2
- Light armour: 1/3

The Argonians were kind of inspired by the Aztecs, an Aztec mod would be fire for them similar to this one for the Imperials

Thanks a lot for your quick answer in French. On the whole your French is very well apart from some mistakes. It’s my go to involve my English. To write foreign accents with English keyboard I recommend Lexilogos website (https://www.lexilogos.com/clavier/index.htm) .

As regards your mod I love it so much. You’re a genius to mix Roman amor while keeping the Legion emblem. Unfortunately the “Historical revival - The Roman era” and “Roman Imperial armor and weapons” mods don’t do it. For pity’s sake could you create a nexus version for the original and special edition?

@ LeHalattois: Pardon, il n'y a pas une version nexus, ou une version pour l'edition speciale. Je n'ai pas l'edition speciale et connais pas si cette mode fonctionne avec il! (pardon pour francais mauvais)

Super mode, merci ! Une question : existe-t-il une version nexus du mode « Roma victor » pour Skyrim l'original et l'édition spéciale ? Je ne parle pas des modes « Historical revival - The Roman era » et « Roman Imperial armor and weapons ».
