CV

Description
Have you ever wondered who you would have been if your life had gone differently? How would you direct your life if everything were up to you? Maybe you would be a magician, or travel around the world? Or maybe big business tempts you, and your goal would be to earn a million dollars?

"CV" means curriculum vitae – your resume – and in the dice and card game CV you will lead a character through his entire life, making many choices about friends, relations, jobs and activities. Everything is possible: a dream job, new relationships and skills. You can be whoever you want!

Gameplay is built around the Yahtzee-style dice rolling and re-rolling system. On their dice, players are trying to roll sets of symbols that allow them to acquire cards; each round these cards give benefits of some kind, such as new symbols and special abilities. At the end of the game, each kind of card scores points for the player.

Love the mod! But I think it could benefit a lot from a bigger table, it gets cluttered really fast :/
Thank you :)

Bought the expansion this week. Look for that to get added in the near future :)

If possible can you add me and explain how to set up the game? Thanks.

I had heard a rumor that CV was back in print and told Zero...I'm the reprint whisperer.

Not a problem. I wouldn't have made this module if I didn't love the hell out of the game ;)

Wow! I appreciate you breaking down that whole game. Well for my first game it could have gone way worse I think. At least no one really lost but myself. XD I'll get my next game right.

Couple rules caveats, if you don't mind:

Celebrity, Marathon Runner and Professor count as two cards of that colour if they're the top card at the end of the game. They don't make cards of that colour cheaper.

And when you roll a Misfortune (3 bad lucks) you have to lose an active card. Losing a card you aren't even using because you buried it isn't really a penalty, if you think about it. That might make Life Insurance mean a lot more to you :)

(also player 1 should have lost the Manager job around 1h30, because you used your only relationship die to buy the apartment from a friend, but that's an easy oversight, and it didn't affect the score)

Ahhhh. Yeah. For Health, Relationship, and Knowledge I never buried the ones I didn't want active at the time. Good catch!

Also, I notice (at least as far as I've watched) that you never bury new cards, you always replace existing cards that might work better for you. For the Renaissance Man goal, you might as well keep the top cards you want and bury new cards just to collect sets.
