Description
While assault squads of strike infantry are delivered to combat zones by dropships, the Fleet also needs to transport personnel under much safer conditions. The Icarus transport shuttle is a lightly armored transport with an unpressurized passenger compartment and pressurized cockpit. It is one of the Fleet's earliest designs, and is currently in its mark 5 version. Its primary use is as a personnel transport between ships or stations, but its dual gatling guns makes it a useful auxillary combat landing craft in a pinch.


General characteristics:
-Crew: 1x Pilot + 6x Passengers
-Length: 9 m
-Width: 6,5 m
-Height: 5 m

Armaments:
-2x Gatling guns

Features:
-Cockpit display showing the ship’s status using MMaster's LCD 2 script and Whiplash141’s Artificial Horizon Script.
-Computers and status screen in the passenger compartment.
-Internal projector to aid repairs
-Keel-mounted connector for hangar docking.
-Room for six personnel in the hold + one pilot
-Rear ramp for easy loading and unloading
-All weapons and reactors connected by a conveyor system
-Pressurized cockpit and oxygen flasks in cargo container.
-Survival ready

Known issues:
-In order to make the rear ramp not affect flight, "share inertia tensor" is turned on. This will give you an "unsafe grid" warning, but has not caused problems for me yet.

Yea, i had a small glitch with the rear hatch, i opened it from the inside, then it warped me 30 feet away and i had to turn off my dampeners to get back to it.

Thank you! The rear hatch is giving me some stability problems during flight due to the rotors, but it is on my list of ships that I will revisit and upgrade.

Love this transport Shuttle, goes well with most of the other TNF ships, which are also amazing.

It has! Slightly different design but the function is the same. I might upgrade it with another rotor to increase its sturdiness.

Has the rear door on this craft been fixed yet? The one problem with the adeona is a stray missile up its rear means death to all aboard, as it'd hit the cockpit from inside, and the blast would likely take out the passengers closes to the front., if not all of them.
