Important note!: Successful construction of most of my ships requires a note of Projector wisdom. First, when viewing the "pivot axis", placing a 'new ship', and maneuvering blocks until a Projector is placed correctly aligned with the Pivot Axis. The |-side faces green, the + side faces blue, which will make the 'right side' face towards red (there is no marker on the Projector for this side). Following this, place a small reactor to the REAR of the projector, facing AWAY from the projector. Power it, and select your blueprint. The projector and reactor are incorporated into the final design, and these are NOT currently arranged for factory production (though a pivot-axis savvy fellow could easily accomplish this.) Keep in mind that upon completion, many of my ships have their reactors primarily serving as relays and conveyors, and are inaccessible, even to put in initial Uranium, and so cannot power a system to initially draw Uranium from a container, but =all= of them have an 'emergency reactor' which always has at least one accessible facing, in the case of these Blueprints, the reactor placed behind the Projector serves that function as well (which is the importance of placing them correctly)

One of the more exciting possibilities of Projectors, my new hobby, is the potential for ships built in stages, with upgrade tiers and optional 'trim levels'. The main thrust of this idea, to me, was constructing a ship based on a basic and interim upgrade models, with no other modification/cutting/joining required, each stage being self-contained and fully compatible with the later stages.

One last thing... these ships are designed to be dependable, stalwart, and useful in every circumstance. To that end, I have deliberately avoided using =any= mods in these craft, so they can be used in any Space Engineers server!

This is the "Betamax" light industry ship, designed to be 'the smallest useful package with two tools, a Large Container, Cockpit, and a Connector" that I could get away with. Initially, the Betamax had no vertical control thrusters, because the design was too small to absorb the thruster damage! However, that proved untenable for all but the most capable pilots, and they were added. The Betamax is smaller and somewhat more nimble than the Lego, but also carries its payload somewhat less protected than the Lego. However, it's quite a quick build in a hasty Survival game, which can make all the difference! The Betamax is offered in a basic unarmored "Stripped" version, and a "Standard Heavy" armored version.
