Description
General description

This mod modifies some features of the Demon faction. The main feature is that this faction now only uses Demons.

Mod Features

-Only units named as demons can now be recruited.
-The army generals have been replaced by great demons of each god.
-All garrisons have been modified to fit this logic, this means that you will only find demons in garrisons.
-Added a general boost to the fraction that grants resources to speed up the progression of each god, 20 points per god and 30 for absolute.
-Global recruitment only lasts 1 turn for all units
-All Paths to Glory are now obtainable and all rewards are accessible. Diplomacy bonuses have been modified so that they still provide an advantage if a single path is obtained, but offer no advantages or penalties if all paths are obtained.

Miscellaneous

The only units I haven't been able to remove from the faction are the renown units since they caused me problems with other factions and strange effects, if anyone knows a way to remove them without causing errors in other things can contact me to see if I can implement it.

I felt like choosing just one path was too short right now, so I made the changes that seemed most logical to me, such as global recruitment so I wouldn't have to depend so much on which settlement we built.

A huge thanks to users Chevaresqye and Purtresskr as they are the ones who reviewed the original game script to make these changes. I would be happy to add you as co-authors of the mod.

If you just want to unlock all the paths to glory I recommend looking at their mods

Subscribing and adding to favorites is fine, but if you want other people to see the mods you like, after trying the mods if you like this press 👍. I see mods with 3000 downloads and only 80 reviews, that makes me☹️. People who are dedicated to modifications will appreciate it. Thank you.

Remember to take a look at the mods in my game collection, I use them all, but even if I only use a few the game will improve a lot, and it's completely modular.

@Shatilov I'll probably make it much simpler, and I won't add any new buildings either, as this adds a point of incompatibility with other mods and things, but thanks for the contribution.

it should be a chaos undivided settlement, that adds favour/glory only the undivided path. and it could use the WoC infrastructure, defense, military building chain.

1 for military units off all entry level missile/melee daemons
1 for cavalry - entry level cav.
1 for heavy units - entry level or low cap
1 for artillery and and larger daemons.

the military structures should only provide the lower tiers type of units, and higher building chain levels should increase the cap of the units.

this forces the player to seek a dedicated path, that allows for recruitment of exalted type of units.

or

only military and cav building chains, with all units unlocked,
while the heavy units and artillery cannot be built..

this forces the player to seek a dedicated path, that allows for recruitment of heavy and large single entity daemons and siege artillery.

@user0914 It's not a bad idea, in fact during my campaign I considered doing something like that, I would have to study how to do it, whether to add the buildings or put each unit in the existing ones or some other method (like recruitment in the settlement building)

one settlement can recruit all demons ,please

thank you for this mod!

@TheRealJD I don't have any further modifications planned.
@Aelfric Clearly, this mod isn't for you. The leader is a demon prince, but he's not like most others; in fact, you can't have any more in the faction. This is a bit of a personal preference and based on the game's codex, but it's mainly to make the faction a bit more unique.
Aelfric 20 Aug @ 1:08pm
I actually do not like interpreting Legions of Chaos as Daemons only. The faction leader himself is Daemon Prince which means he was a mortal once. I like to think more that it allows some mortals to shine as daemon princes in their Legion so I prefer to look at it more like LOC rather than DOC

Any chance for the demons or armies to get bonuses if fighting in a region with high corruption ? (just ideas to make the Demon faction more interesting to play)

I'm back. With SFO the game doesn't crash, but SFO and this mod don't like each other as far as recruitment.

@FestiveFrostbite I don't know, but I suppose not
