AI Recruits Fewer Ranged Units

Description
This mod significantly reduces the ranged units recruited by the AI, including all types and artillery.


I have only reduced all recruitment groups that had more than 5% in said group to 5%. Under normal conditions, there should not be more than 5 or 6 ranged attack regiments in AI armies.


This mod will work with units from other mods and other recruitment mods as long as they do not modify the original game system. Load this mod with higher priority than others that modify AI recruitment.

@wwwangjialiang It's very likely that UFO has its own recruitment values ​​or even a system of its own (I don't know). You could try loading this mod with a higher priority than UFO and see if that works, if not you would have to make a specific mod for it, but I don't use UFO nor have any interest in making mods for it.

I tried again. If I only use your mod, it works. However, if I enable SFO at the same time, it stops working. Is there any way to solve this problem?Both SFO and your MOD are of great importance to me.

@wwwangjialiang Do you have any other mods that affect recruitment? If so, these changes might be cancelling each other out. It could also be the case that the AI only has ranged units available for recruitment. The values set in this mod are already very restrictive; 5 or 6 units would be the maximum that you could see the AI recruiting, considering all the recruitment groups, including one artillery unit, one short-range unit, one long-range unit, one mounted ranged unit, one high-value ranged unit, and possibly some duplicates or anoder group. However, you might also encounter armies with none or just a couple of these units. If you have any more information to provide more precise feedback, please do not hesitate to comment.

This MOD seems doesn't work. Additionally, I hope the AI can recruit fewer remote units, preferably only one or two. Could you please create another one? Thank you

Forgive me. I did not mean it in the sense of effecting popularity of mods but rather in the sense of possibly improving them further. But if you are aware and it is not necessary then I understand. Thank you for explanation Sir.

@Not_My_Spiderman They can be used together, load this mod with higher priority. It can also be used independently but cannot be used with the HelJumper mod, as it modifies the original recruitment system of the game (replaces it). That unknown table, I have already commented on it in other comments of my mod AI recruitment unleashed but in my mods it is not necessary to modify them and it is one of the reasons why the high elves did not recruit sword infantry almost ever. I have never cared about popularity or people using my mods, use the mod that you like the most and that best suits your needs.

So this can be used with your AI Revolution recruitment mod as well? It is just a further modification? Thank you for this btw.

Also it seems the modder HelJumper with the other really popular AI recruitment mod noticed another file from CA that affected recruitment that he wasn't aware of.

Just making you aware in case this could potentially effect your recruitment mods as well. He was seen talking about this potential find in his comments section.
