Comprehensive Stellaris "Total Conversion" favoring streamlined gameplay and endless scaling.

Read "Technical information" and "DLC Requirements" before starting the game with this Mod.


-Primary Features:

~~Rebuilt Tradition system with 20 handcrafted trees, 100 linked "Ascension Perks", 80 linked "Edicts" and 30 linked "Civics", all with custom scripting.

~~Splitting of "Pops" into "Discrete" and "Numerical" units, maintaining granularity while reducing "Pop" counts in lategame galaxies to 1/10, greatly boosting perfomance.

~~Rebuilt Technology System, research everything, including 75 New Repeatables, from the Start, balanced with a unique anti-hyperscaling Rigidity System.

~~Complete Leader Rework which includes, "No Leader Level Limits" "Personality Based Leveling Modifier Growth" "Government Development Based on Leader Class" "Rarity Based Skill Level Up Choices"

~~Modifier Display Overhaul, visually improved and easier to parse.

~~Complete Resource Economy Rework including: "Deposit Exhaustion" "Country Logistics" "Endless Growth of Orbital and Colonial Development" "Streamlined Colonial Configuration, requires ZERO manual changes after initial Setup" "Simulated Dynamic Production Focus, Switch from Food to Minerals at the click of a Button"

~~Endless Anomaly|Digsite|Minor_Artifacts Discovery in owned Systems after initial Survey with gradually decreasing efficiency, Anomalies found this way often offer dynamic reward options of varying rarity.



-Secondary Features:

~~Extreme Customizability via "Scripted Variables" for almost every single gameplay element.

~~Permanent modifier rewards purchasable with Minor Artifacts, "Gacha Style".

##~~TECHNICAL INFORMATION~~##

~~The autosave feature should be disabled to prevent the game from lagging out at the beginning of the year.
~~Being a "Total Conversion", OMEGA lacks compatibility with almost all mods, support for select high value mods may be added in the future. (UI Overhaul Dynamic is compatible with some minor unfixed misalignment)
~~Every mechanic has extensive ingame Tooltips, refer to them if something is unclear, otherwise write a Comment.
~~With many tedious Micro-Mechanics excised and performance improved, you may want to the game to run faster than "Fastest", Stellaris is speed capped by your FPS, I recommend between 90-120 FPS for a modern CPU if you want your game to run faster than a speeding Hedgehog but slower than an overheating Fusion Core.


-Usage Notes:
~~Resource Stockpiles provide a logistics rating based on volume, growth optimized economies should maintain sizeable amounts of non-spent resources.
~~Influence Income is highly dependent on the Total Amount of Stockpiled "Unity", buying Traditions in the very early game is not advisable.
~~Spawning with a deficit is somewhat common since starting systems are almost fully randomized, to avoid early economic collapse, use the button at the very bottom of the slider on the left of your screen and increase orbital production priority for resources you need.

~~ALPHA 0.8 will integrate Overlord.
~~ALPHA 0.9 will have extremely competitive AI.
~~BETA 1.0 will be a Feature Complete Release.
~~BETA 1.1 will have a custom built semi-random competitive multiplayer map with Team based Gameplay. (Think like a MOBA with 3 Teams where each "Base" is upgradable and continuously spawns fleets to conquer new territory and attack enemy Bases)
~~BETA 1.2 is yet undecided.

Exactly, with a few days between each. Typically happens once every few decades.
I'll keep watch on it and try to run the command if possible.

If you get another freeze, try "scriptprofiler" in console commands while playing, then send me the 2"script_profiling" files in C:\Users\"YourName"\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\logs before closing the game.

those show exactly which event lagged out, making the fix easy.

Worst case I can nuke that code its not super important, just annoying to debug.

Its not your RAM, thats normal usage since Windows overallocates everything thats available.

Im 90% thats a problem with a pathfinding script I run for AI.
Fixed a lag like that already but they are pretty sloppily designed since I made them very early in development and documentation on behavior is pretty sparse.
Im 99.9% sure I can fix that just need to go through code again.

How much Ram does this usually consume?
I had some extremely long freezes and turns out stellaris was consuming about 25GB of ram (so essentially all of it)

Alright, just did a test. Theres some misalignment on leader portraits for fleets and planets but otherwise youre good to go.

I will integrate dynamic UI sometime in the future, It may be compatible already but UI modding is very sensitive and it may just crash the game or badly misalign parts of the UI due to the various custom Interfaces I have built.
