In the editor, firstly disable vertical mode and surface snapping https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2278190892
After that, go to groups (F2), custom and in the list under "Steam subscribed content", you'll see all the compositions you're subscribed to, including the "Ifrit (30mm)".
I just wish more could be done in this situation. :/
But if BI won't step in (and you know the answer to it already), nothing will change.
Sorry for the rambling, I just felt like sharing my gripes with the game to someone who'll understand :v

I wish BI would open up a bit and let modders make edits to vanilla vehicles. All we get on the workshop is the same rehashes of Arma 2 mods with very little original content(but CDLC creators can do it, because money. No offence to Rotators Collective who do a great job of it). If not, even adding classes for standalone vehicle turrets or commands that allow the disabling of collisions of parts of the geometry(alongside better texture areas so things like tracks and misc elements can be hidden) would do a great service to this sort of kitbashing. There isn't even a toggle for vehicles to fire while upside-down, meaning no attaching extra weapons to aircraft.
The Nyx might be the best thing that's happened to this scene, lol.
