Spacer Arsenal

Descripción

Welcome to a new spacer-based weapon mod, this time with a bit of a different name. "What does Arsenal mean?" you may ask. Arsenal mods add a varied set of guns who are all somewhat different in theming and aesthetics, meaning they do different things, with different stats, and different projectiles.

Spacer Arsenal is a small and focused mod that introduces 7 new equippable spacer level guns with different weaknesses and strengths to spice up your late game and to make late game enemies harder to fight. No more only charge rifles and lances! All the weapons keep to the simple theme of vanilla spacer weapons, and to prevent adding a new research, the mod includes a patch to the Pulse-charged munitions research to make all the new weapons fit.

There is also a new marine-level helmet for your space-faring soldiers and bootleg stormtroopers.

Kingallhobos made an awesome in-depth review of the mod! Check it out here: https://youtu.be/UNrNnG-LXT4

There isn't an official patch for this mod as of yet. However, there is a fanmade patch on the Combat Extended discord.

Is this...compatible with combat extended?

Thank you for the well thought out review, Kingallhobos! I appreciate your deep dive into the balancing, the art and compatibility, your feedback is greatly appreciated. I do have a few answers to quarrels you came across in your review:

-The randomized colors of Ensign armor are a trait shared by all power armors, they should be able to be dyed with Tinctoria.

-The Sparksabre is much closer to the Monosword when it comes to balancing rather than the Plasmasword.

-I didn't split the research to not bloat the menu more than necessary.

I will be looking out for more of your reviews. If you happen to review more of my mods in the future I'd love to hear what you have to say, if you have any questions feel free to ask on Steam or by DMing me on Discord. May I put the link to the video in the mod's description and images for others to see?

Yes, it's to balance the cold insulation, wearing armor insulated against the cold would make it less usable in hotter environments.
