Also, same question as @Timotheseus, all the brood-goanna traits are Xenogenes instead of Germline genes, which seems odd.
I also looked through the incidents and there doesnt seem to be anything related to Goanna spawning. Is a feature planned for the future on making this mod more like a hive with reproduction or are the Brood just rare, one-off, xeno-human pawns that you only get at the start of the game?
As it seems currently only regular Goanna can reproduce with regular Goanna to make more of the same despite the description saying that "only the brood-kings and queens are permitted to reproduce, with few lucky goanna at the bottom of the ladder being granted the opporunity to share a den with them."
I tried breeding a Brood with a regular Goanna and they just came out as green skinned humans with only a few traits related to Goanna. Im also a few in-game years in and I have not encountered any new Brood.
No "Rimworld" play through in a tropical zone is complete without that Mod.
Krazyfan1, making a patch for that probably wouldn’t be too hard, might toy with it at some point!
