This collection seeks to turn L4D2 into a slower, more "tactical" experience, with intensely defined weapon-roles, stronger common infected, all within the RE campaigns. With primary weapons unable to reload, movement nerfed, and infected tankier, the intent here is to replicate the feelings of and puzzle solving combat of the classic Resident Evil games. Hopefully this accomplishes that goal.

Here are some stats:

Your running speed is slower, and more tactical.
Special Infected do not spawn.
As many models as possible have been swapped for retro-style weapons to mimic the look of classic PS1 games.
All 3 Resident Evil maps are playable and intended for the collection.
Common Infected are tankier and will go-down faster with well placed headshots.
This collection is intended to be played on at least Advanced (but best on Extreme).

Your primary weapons only have the ammo they come with on pick-up. Treat them more like emergency savior options, or boss-weapons. Your sidearm will serve as your main zombie-killer, but there is enough challenge here that it should be just as engaging trying to survive the campaigns.

Your primary weapon can also be a melee weapon, giving you the option to run pistols + melee for extreme economy at the expense of boss-killing difficulty and no ammo upgrades.

Gun Recoil / Screen Kick has been added to make shooting repeatedly more challenging.
Running accuracy has been heavily nerfed, making running and gunning almost useless outside of point-blank range.
The Magnum has had its accuracy nerfed to reel it closer to a side-grade of the pistols.
