AutoPermits

Description
Support me on Ko-Fi:
[ko-fi.com]

A mod which allows for Royal permits granting resources to be used automatically whenever they can be used for free.

The auto-use of permits can be configured separately for each of your colonists, as well as each of their permits. The menu can be accessed from the "Call aid..." menu (while on a map) or a separate button (while caravaning).

On top of deciding which permits will be used you can also decide if the permits will be used on caravans, as well as if they should only be used on player (non-quest) maps.

The permits will only be used the moment their cooldown ends - assuming that your colonist would be able to call permits at the time (so they're conscious, not in cryptosleep casket, etc.) - so you'll need to use them for the first time, and then they'll be sent automatically afterwards. Please note, resources won't be sent to caravans if it would put them over their carry capacity.

Should be compatible with:
- Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire - stone drop needed special handling
- Zetrith's Multiplayer - the new menus are handled properly when in Multiplayer mode
- Trade Ships Drop Spot by Smash Phil - the resources should drop on the spot added by the mod

@yellowdotchuck I was using it with DMS in 1.5 and it worked fine

Okay.

@yellowdotchuck no idea, I never used that mod so I can't tell. Mostly depends on how those work I guess?

- If those are basic resource drops, it should work.
- If those are handled by the mod in a special way, like VFE-Empire's stone drop, it may need special handling.
- If those are permits of a non-Empire faction... Honestly? No idea. Probably not? I don't recall how I made the mod, so I can't say for certain.

Would it be compatible with Dead Man's Switch?

- Updated to 1.6
- Updated the required Prepatcher so the mod won't complain if you use the version uploaded by Jikulopo
- Since this mod relied on permit cooldown messages and those are broken due to VTR, I've added a workaround so the mod will keep working

Since there's a new Prepatcher release on the Workshop, I'll look into updating the mod to 1.6 in a day or few.

Yeah, prepatcher doubles the startup time taken now that 1.6 has released I've found on my 1.5 save.

@Soky is Prepatcher made obsolete by a new feature in 1.6 or something? I did a quick check of it's page and it seems like while people are saying that the original dev is seemingly missing at least one person (allegedly) already has a 'mostly working' 1.6 version forked. (and 'continued'/'revived' mods are by no means uncommon in RW)

(this isn't me trying to poke & ask for a faster update, I'm just genuinely curious. Not a RW modder myself but I am a programmer and I've heard that there were some fairly large under the hood optimizations in 1.6 that have rendered some previous optimization or optimization-adjacent mods obsolete, so I'm curious if Prepatcher was one of them. From what I understand of it I wouldn't expect it to be, but that's the only reason I could see doing a rewrite to not rely on it anymore when people already seem to be working on porting it to 1.6 anyway)

It specifically was built around using Prepatcher, and will need a bunch of changes to work without it. I'll update it... eventually. Once I'm less busy with other mods.

does this still work or do we need an update because i need it
