Classic Grunt Birthday Party

The Grunt Birthday Party skull was introduced in Halo 2, but it looked very different than it does in the MCC. This mod restores the original GBP functionality.

Headshots on all headshotable characters generate a plasma grenade explosion. There is no confetti or cheering.

This mod works independently of the GBP skull, you’ll want to have it disabled for the classic experience. I would have preferred to add a brand new skull, unfortunately this is not something that is possible even with DLL changes.

• damage is equivalent to a plasma grenade (classic damage was about 1/4 shield)
  
• chains into grenades
  
• activated by non-precision weapons
  
• allies can set it off
  
• doesn't go off more than once
  
• doesn't affect heretic leader
  
• doesn't affect Commander or Johnson
  
• isn't on proper location of flood (elite) corpse
  
• destroys flood body in one explosion
