Definitely the best thing to happen to the HALO series on PC, getting all the games that matter upto HALO 4 on the platform! I'm not always the biggest FPS guy, preferring RPGs over FPS games anyday, as well as Minecraft for the fun of creation. That being said, HALO has a fantastic sci-fi setting, and is so beyond fun to play with friends that it has to be experienced. You also have access to 6 games in this collection:
HALO: Combat Evolved
HALO 2: Anniversary
HALO 3
HALO 3: ODST
HALO Reach
HALO 4

The only thing this collection could use, is the ability to have the game split-screen EVEN on PC, down to especially the fun of co-op campaigns back on PC. After all, you're not getting co-op and split-screen even on the Xbox One here, so your best bet is if Microsoft and 343 actually fixes the PC release to give us such a huge mainstay for HALO.

What a joke of an experience this game is.

I bought the game to see what the hype is about and was greeted with a Microsoft account login page. I created a brand new account since I didn't have one. Played the game for 30 minutes and then went to bed.

The next day I started the game and was greeted with an "Enter password" screen. I entered my password and got a new screen telling me my account is locked for violating Microsoft's Services Agreement. It's a day old account. How did I violate anything? Anyway, it asked me for a phone number to send some kind of verification code. I entered my phone number and got a 4-digit code that I entered. The code somehow was invalid even after triple-checking it. I requested a new code that is also invalid. After that, I gave up and tried again later.

Now when I try to enter my phone number it tells me they cannot send a message to it. Tell me what kind of BS is this? There are no other options to validate my account and as far as I see it, I am locked out of it. Yeah, I can create a new one but I have a feeling it will be the same story and I don't really want to use other people's phone numbers for this.

This is such a good collection man.
Halo 1 - really fun (especially with cursed halo lmao)
Halo 3 - greatest game of all time.
Halo Reach - Really great in coop
Halo 4 - ...we don't talk about halo 4.

i couldn't play halo 2 and odst and im ♥♥♥♥ at pvp but this is a really good collection of games.

Not really a first person shooter fan, but the story is interesting and adds real gravity to your struggles. The controls converting to mouse and keyboard are pretty comfortable and not awkward at all. I did find the imbalance between the effectiveness of enemy explosions versus players explosions to be frustrating, but not so much to detract from the fun i was having.

I love it
