Description
The New Flyer XD60 is a North American diesel 60 foot low floor bus. It's part of the Xcelsior series introduced in 2008. Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) operate these buses in bus rapid transit (BRT) service in Houston, Texas as the silver line, opened in 2020. More BRT is planned for the city. The buses operate like a train: they run on dedicated lanes and fares must be paid before boarding. There are doors on both sides for boarding on either side of the bus. In game I believe the doors on the left won't work in a right hand driving city but they do have the door markers on them. It'd be interesting to see if there's a left hand bus stop for a right hand driving city.

The bus has custom sound and lighting. Color variation is on the destination board. To change the destination board to Transit Center, click on the vehicle and give it any custom name.

Included:
- New Flyer XD60 METRORapid Bus (140 passengers)
- Prop Version

Optional Recommended Mods:
- Vehicle Effects Mod for custom sound effects.
- Visibility Control Mod for additive shaders. This lights up the destination board and windows at night.
- Find It Mod to search "Metropolitan Transit Authority" and find the prop.

Stats:
- Tris - 1,263 / Trailer - 698 | LOD - 86 / Trailer - 60
- Texture 1024x512 | LOD 64x32
- Custom LOD

@Cristolisto: can you do one for an XD40 bus too please? Also a 40 and 60 foot long Boston MBTA bus?

That is awesome! It looks like you made a rendering of Hiram Clark BOF in Houston

@Dxcent each subscription has a xml file called VehicleEffectsDefinition. The name of the vehicle needs to be changed to yours to work. You'd then include the other xml named SoundEffects and the Sound folder with .ogg files in your subscription. Hope that helps!

If I were to make retextures of your buses, would the custom sound effects automatically be applied to the new model when importing, or would I need to reapply the sounds?

Hello It would be cool if you could make two buses, one normal and one articulated in RATP Stif version the Paris buses because the level of detail of your buses and others are really at the top
