Land Beyond the River

Description
After dying too many times, Hat Kid can't respawn and she finds herself in a mysterious land. It's rumored that God alone has a Time Piece that can bring her back to life...

Traverse a series of islands to find the way out!

This level is mildly difficult. Experienced players should have no issues. Hookshot badge is required (sorry I forgot to mention that earlier!) Like my other mods, there's a lot of dialogue, but aside from the first and last conversations, it's not required for progression.

Estimated Completion Time: 10-25 minutes.

Such a great mod, and it was fun to play through to meet God! A very well done layout, and I loved the dialog, such a pecking mod. Why is Hat Kid God so small?

Side note about the painting, mirohalia, did YOU paint that? It looks so beautiful and well done! :KidHat: :HatHealth:

Mirohalia, that would be really cool! The art is supremely well done and it's just so calming to look at!

Thank you Dylan!! The art in the icon is part of my painting of Hat Kid in the Land Beyond the River that I painted almost exactly a year ago! It is acrylic paint on an 18x24 inch wood panel. It's hanging on the wall in my living room where I can see it everyday, and it brings me a lot of joy. I'll attach a photo of it to the mod screenshots if anyone wants the full version.

Not being the most religious individual around, I did find this level to be rather calming. Serene, I guess. It certainly made me contemplate what all the Hat Children said and the meaning behind it all. Made me feel things for sure and was a very lovely experience.

Side-note, who did the artwork for the mod's profile icon? It's really very well done and is part of the reason why I was so drawn to playing this in the first place.

Very convenient that I happened to play this on Easter Sunday. I don't know if this was made out of genuine faith or what, but a weirdly touching/moving mod nonetheless. Bravo.

Sorry, I have no idea why it's labeled as playable character, thanks for catching that! It must have auto detected my use of Hat_Player_NPC and erroneously given the tag. I'll see if I can remove it.
