Description
APRIL UPDATE! This pack adds a multitude of mods to make the game longer and more in depth, re-balancing nearly every block & system in the game. I've used my 4,000+ hours of SE experience to curate a balanced hardcore realism beatable modpack for singleplayer or multiplayer survival.

Scenario Version "Legacy of the Forgotten" currently in development
(This version replaces the existing story mod with a new deep storyline w/ functioning quests and sidequests.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Setup/Stuff to know:

-Beating the pack will usually take 100+ hours so be prepared.
-Many blueprints will need to be slightly reworked before they can be used in this pack.
-This pack is to be specifically used on the Solar system custom preset.
-You must have vanilla progression turned off in options.
-Load order matters for multiple mods. This is the current working load order.

-You will have to place the water yourself. Don't go crazy with the depth or you'll be building submarines when you go to complete the story. I recommend only adding water to Earth and Alien, with a height of 1.0158 on both. For help adding the water refer to https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2574095672 and navigate to the "Server Settings" section.
-You must disable "AdvLift" in the Aerodynamic Physics mod, or you will only get one faction's ships spawning on planets. To do so, have an admin use Alt + F10, Then go to the top left "Mod Settings" --> Aerodynamic Physics --> Physics --> Advanced Lift. Set this value to "False"
-Be sure to check back here regularly, as the mod list receives regular additions & gameplay fixes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tips:

-The first machine you make is now the "Assembling Bench" instead of the basic assembler.
-Trees can be cut down for wood. Planks are now craftable in the Assembling Bench & Extruder. (Special thanks to PepperJack!)
-I heavily recommend starting on earth, as the creatures and enemies on other planets will make quick work of you. (I tried Pertam, and quickly became food for the local fauna)
-Food and drinks can be acquired at trade stations.
-The maximum achievable ship speed is now 1000m/s.
-The suit jetpack has reduced thrust, not allowing you to fly on any planets. The most you are able to do are small "hops". Jetpacks still work in space and moons, but are sluggish.
-Oxygen consumption has been greatly increased, so make sure your spaceships have onboard O2 tanks.
-Consider "duckboat" designs in the early game.
-Hydrogen systems no longer serve as power generation, but (very efficient) power storage. For fuel-based power generation you will have to resort to other fuels or methods.
-You can place a collector in water to collect infinite ice.
-Hold Ctrl before grinding to detach a block from a grid. Click R to pick up the object (up to 1.5t, yea the Engineer's stronk) Forget merge blocks, and use Weld Pads to attach blocks to other grids.
-All planets have different atmospheric densities, as opposed to vanilla. Keep this in mind if making parachute-based landers. (Be prepared for Mars. Wind power won't work!)
-Laser antenna power efficiency is increased by 100x. Go ahead and laser link your bases across the solar system without nuclear reactors.
-Jump Drives behave quite a bit different.
-Use \ (above enter key) to toggle quest visibility.
-Type */autoore showhud false* to hide the ore pickup UI in the bottom right
-Beware the abominations...
-Skim thru the mod list. There may be some things you didn't know you could do!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Known issues:

- [Bug] - Story mod will sometimes not trigger, leaving you stuck on the "prepare to leave the drop pod" step. If this happens, restart your game and create a fresh world. (This only applies to new worlds. You won't lose a story in progress)
- [Bug] - Admiral Suite ceilings pieces have no "in-construction" models or working hitboxes, and can sometimes cause crashes. Use at your own risk. All other Admiral Suite pieces work as intended.
- [Bug] - Wooden crafting tables are basically useless due to AwwScrap, so they are cosmetic only.
