Unit Spacing Mod (Spacing Only)

Descrizione
This is a simple mod that edits the unit spacing tables. It will affect only this file.

You can open this mod in the Pack File Manager and personalise it yourself!
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?618353-PFM-3-2-DB-schema-improvements

Just in case it's unclear, the three top down views of the armies are barbarian, roman and hellenic units (in that order) of various pedigrees. The current pictures are from an older, more zealous version--some of the variations shown have been toned down, and the pictures will be replaced in time.

The mod makes the following changes:
Units (except archers) have slightly increased spacing. The primary purpose here is to reduce unit clipping (models moving through each other). I had to compromise between clipping and realism. Spacing variation has also been increased; this means certain unit types will stand in imperfect formation.
The mod also makes some Roman units stand more scattered in loose formation, which causes them to move through each other faster--this can be used to order your reserve lines into battle quicker where necessary.

Unfortunately this does not affect the way units clump up when charging every time, but your units should display slightly less clipping than before in general, and you may or may not receive a weeny lil framerate boost (depending on your army sizes).

If you experience too much clipping when ordering your barbarian units into a shieldwall, activate loose formation first. It will not affect your unit's stats, and it will enter shieldwall as normal.

Changes by unit type:
Pikemen have virtually no variation and stand closer together than vanilla;
Roman legionary units have a small variation in spacing and stand closer together than regular infantry;
Other melee infantry units have medium variations in spacing;
Cavalry units have medium variations in spacing (go ride a horse);
'Barbarian' units have larger variation and distance in spacing;
Missile units have medium variations in spacing (image 3 & 4 are updated values).

If you notice any glaring balance issues please leave a comment and your results from a test with and without the mod. This mod is incompatible with other mods that change the unit spacing table, such as 'Close Combat' [pretty sure that one's broken anyway :( ], Vanilla Combat Revisited, or SSO.

A little rating goes a long way ;)

Really cool little mod, much prefer this to your Spacing and Entity Mod; feels much more historically accurate with regards to indivdual spacing, but without losing the feeling of thousands of men crammed together in a murderous crush when the lines engage (which was often the case with ancient battles).

Hi, for some reason this mod conflicts with Transport Penalty by Phalangitis with the TW center mod manager but not with CA's built in mod manager, does anyone know whats up with that?
