Description
requires clientside + serverside lua
various opinionated changes to the salvaging experience

features:
  • thalami:
    a small set of defensive features, chosen randomly each encounter
  • loot:
    wrecked navigational equipment has a chance to spawn an item - use a crowbar to open
  • wreck locating:
    there is a small chance nearby wrecks will make noise

load order
place above the following:
- New Wrecks For Barotrauma

modding compatibility notes
this mod should work with the following other mods:
- Real Sonar (overrides navterminal)
- Barotraumatic (overrides headsets)
issues may arise with mods that also override the following:

No, they're random chance. It would be boring if all thalamus wrecks were the same.

so the radio inteferrence and the loot of the data recorders its not always here ?

Wrecks have a 50% chance to have data recorders as loot, while thalamus wrecks have about 6% to 40% chance to have defensive features (also picked randomly). This is to allow variety.

tested in v1.5.7.0, encountered no issues so it should still work

@Merc Hello, I just pushed an update that, among other things, 1) fixes the incorrect isSold attribute, and 2) hopefully replaces the thalamus alarm with a regular emergency siren if it still somehow makes its way into an inventory.
I have done some basic testing in the level editor and found that my changes don't break anything else, but please let me know if you encounter any new issues.
