Description
Enhanced Vanilla Gun Sounds (Revived)
A revival/1.4 fork of Arekan's original Enhanced Vanilla Gun Sounds, with extras added.

Also check out my other mod, Modded Weapon Sound Replacement

Key Changes
This mod retains the original sounds edited by Arekan,
  1. Revolver
  2. Autopistol
  3. Machine pistol
  4. Heavy SMG
  5. Assault rifle
  6. Shotgun
  7. Sniper

    -aswell as touching up on other weapons not originally included in the mod.

  8. Rocket Launcher (Universal sound)
  9. Incendiary Launcher (And EMP/Smoke)
  10. Machinegun/Minigun
  11. Charge Rifle
  12. Charge Blaster
  13. Charge Lance
  14. Pila / Generic throw sound
  15. Recurve, Great, Short - Bows
  16. Grenades
  17. Autocannon turret
  18. Rocketswarm turret
  19. Normal turret
  20. Mortar

    Aswell as some Biotech guns:
  21. Beam Graser
  22. Slugthrower
  23. Flame blaster

This mod also changes the equip sound of most weapons. If you don't like that, the equip sounds patches are put in a separate .xml that you can just simply delete.

Code is salvaged from the original Enhanced Combat Sounds mod, but does not require Harmony - mod is purely based on XML.
Original mod credits belong to Arekan.

not sure if it's this mod or not. there are multiple errors like this one and all of them connected with bullets.

Not yet - while the mod is updated for 1.6, I haven't gotten towards supporting the guns from Odyssey.

Should work for 1.6 since it's just a simple XML mod, but you guys could check for me.

I'm mainly not working on ANY Rimworld mods at the moment because I'm not in the Rimworld mood, sorry.

You can take a look at this mod and go back to that mod and see what I've changed for forking.
I'm kinda done with Rimworld modding for now, working on Minecraft and Airships: Conquer the Skies stuff.

Hey @Bonible, will you update the Enhanced Combat Sounds mod to 1.5? I tried to create a fork but I found some problems related to soundImpactStuff, it seems that some things have changed drastically and is causing several performance issues :/
