Retaining Walls - Pack #02 - AiO

Description

Hello all togther !

Here I have the second version of my Retaining Wall Networks.
These "networks" here are way more convinient to use, because its only one network.
It can be easily ["on the way"] be changed in to the version you need.
First version down below.


  • reused textures from other releases
  • change the Wall type [all types as in the first version, see link above]
  • 3 different Concrete Wall Versions
  • currently 3 different "decks" - theme based Pavement, Gravel and Grass
  • 2 different width
  • plus 3 diffrent narrow versions
  • Intersection Marking Tool (by macsergey) "ready"
  • etc.


  • Overview of all AN Customisation - Options [currently incomplete]
  • change everything via - Segment Flags [drop down Menu]
  • lay down the network ...
  • ... and change everything afterwards

  • Variant : different Wall versions [Fence, Wall, narrow, Barrier etc.]
  • Deck : currently available are theme based Pavement, Grass and Gravel
  • the Deck options has to be activated for all versions, except the "narrow" ones [see pic below]
  • Width : this option halfes the networks width (no drop down)
  • Direction : flips / inverts the network (also no drop down)
  • Versions : there are currently 2 additional concrete "looks"

  • ...thats pretty much it ;)


  • without the Adaptive Network - Mod by Kian Zarin, this network would be some kind of "mesh mess", therefore AN is absoulutely needed


As always ;)

Loading Screen Mod - created by thale5, fixed and updated by Klyte45 and
now maintained and improved by algernon.

  • almost all (currently) available road networks use the same texture set
  • I also suggest Intersection Marking Tool by macsergey, because these networks can be used with that mod
  • add addtional networks (for example my currently released decorative Power Line Networks...
  • or Props, Trees etc.

Hey @clus I love this asset a lot and it's my go-to to make sunken/elevated networks. Would it be possible for you to update it with an option on AN to turn a segment/node of it into an overpass bridge? Or at least release a prop using the same textures? I feel really at a loss when I have to bridge the gap between two parts of this wall when a road splits it. Thanks in advance :)

@Elevator Hazard / chj5566 I´ll look in to this. This network shouldn´t create "nodes" in any way, but I think I know why there are gaps in certain situations. Dont know if thats fixable ...

Do these do angles/corners/bends? When I place any of them and connect segments at anything other than a straight line, there's a gap. Am I doing this wrong?

your retaining wall came in handy as soon as i restarted my city. built a road too close to another on a slope and opened up the maps blue screen. plopped this right in there, perfectly done. no more rerouting broken roads...
plus, i think this is gonna be a better choice than the quay.
