Description

The Jolter Defense Industries SDV-18 Tadpole is a small, deployable vessel designed to operate in coastal areas and in-shore waters. The Tadpole was built primarily to the size constraints allowed for deployment on JDI's larger HMV-11 Stalwart Dive Support Vessel, a "major project" that is still very work-in-progress. Because of its deployment capabilities on the Stalwart, the Tadpole was also designed to survive in moderate ocean waves.

The Tadpole's primary role is as a small-scale, rapid-response vessel that is capable of arriving on-scene and handling immediate concerns before the main support arrives. To fulfill this role, the Tadpole is equipped with several sets of emergency equipment, including a seawater direct intake pump to fight fires and a standard-size emergency equipment kit. Any additional equipment required by the parameters of the mission that is not installed on the Tadpole should be equipped before the Tadpole is launched from the shore or ship.

Several months into the construction of the HMV-11 Stalwart, the UCERD's Bluewater Fleet board member--the official responsible for approval of projects that enter service with the Bluewater Fleet--pushed a proposal to develop an original RHIB design compatible with the Stalwart's small-boat gantry deployment system. During the next board meeting, the Coastal Security Regiment's board member accepted the proposal for the JDI RHIB, which is why the SDV-18 is affixed with the CSR Sigil.

Howdy! I was hoping to use this in a large ship creation I am working on as the FRC. The modifications I've made have only been to unbrand the vessel and paint it orange. Would you be willing to allow me to use this? Thanks!
