Spectrum T60 Transponder

Description
Coordination just got colourful
Building on the proven technology of the Spectrum M30, the T60 is a transponder, data modem and IFF rolled into one package. A gui built for 5x3 or larger monitors shows the location of all known contacts and can filter this display by group (colour) and vehicle type (icon). The modem feature allows users to send and receive up to 6 number values over composite to another specific T60 using its ID number. An example use might be for calling in a drone strike to given coordinates.

Built with the weapons DLC in mind, the T60 also features an IFF lookup feature. Feed the X and Y GPS coordinates from a suspected RADAR contact in, and the T60 will output an on/off value to show if this target is within 150m of a known transponder signal. This could be used to lockout an automated CIWS in case it begins detecting and targeting a friendly boat or helicopter. A brief history of tested coordinates are shown as circles on the map, coloured to show if they passed the IFF test or not.

Useage
Transponder
Connect the Antenna composite in, composite out, frequency and transmit lines to the T60. Connect the T60 TX enable on/off either to a constant on signal, or a switch to enable and disable automated transmission of the transponder. The transponder announces its position about once every 3 seconds. Custom data transmission/reception and transponder reception will still operate if TX enable is off.
Connect the GPS nodes, and select the type of Vehicle and group colour on the Microcontroller properties and it is ready to go.

The current ID number is available externally on a number output node and tooltip. Useful for screenless operation. The ID number defaults to auto-generated, but can be fixed to a specific value using the Microcontroller properties. Note that spawning 2 vehicles with the same ID will cause the icon to jump between the two positions.

Custom data
Custom numbers are sent on the number channels 1-6 of the Custom composite in and out nodes. An on signal to on/off channel 1 of the in node starts the transmission. Note that the T60 will only send values in that instant and will block further transmissions for 5 seconds to prevent excessive traffic.
Number channel 7 on the input sets the destination ID to send the values to (0 broadcasts to all)
Channel 7 on the output is the source ID of the last received transmission

Identify Friend-or-Foe (IFF)
Custom in composite number channels 8 and 9 are GPS X and Y inputs to check. The T60 will continually search through its database of up to 60 known contacts and will output an on signal on Custom out composite on/off channel 1 if the supplied coordinates are within 150m of a known contact, or 50m of the current position.

Custom in composite number channel 10 can be used to identify which set of GPS coordinates you are testing - its value will be written out on Custom out composite number channel 8 in the same tick as the on/off is written when processing is complete. This allows you to stream coordinates to test (perhaps for many radar contacts) quickly without needing to wait for the test response to come back.

A microcontroller property allows turning on or off the display of the coordinates being tested by the IFF. Red circles fail the test, black passes. If a coordinate is within 5m of the last coordinate it is not shown to reduce display clutter.

Display
The monitor video output is designed for a single monitor of 5x3 or larger (or multiple monitors of the same size, though only one touchscreen will work). Touching on the map will scroll in that direction. Zoom +, - and re-centre (o) are on the top toolbar. Pressing re-centre also locks the map centre to the current vehicle position and will follow it.
Contact filters are cycled clicking in the top left buttons.
The user can select the display of contact ID numbers next to their icon on the map with the ID button.
In the top right the user can see their current ID number, and in the bottom left are popup messages when new data is received, or data is being transmitted.

Meta
The address ID number generates on vehicle spawn and is not known in advance, unless you select a fixed ID in the Microcontroller properties. It is highly unlikely two vehicles will accidentally share the same ID, but once it is generated it is kept permanently in a memory block.

@foggy47 Sure thing, thanks for considering my creations
You can also use the M30 radio controller you also commented on

Hello, your work is great. Can I get your authorization to use it on my vehicle and publish it in the creative workshop? I will write the name of the work and the original link in the introduction.:winter2019happyyul:

@TheRealXebec - STRCT - Structure ie buildings and whatnot
@leo 71. Might try to do a MIL version with frequency hopping to prevent jamming
