Scenario Tools

Description
THIS MOD IS NOT IN ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT. If you have issues, just try to get what use you can out of it. There may be an update in the future, but it won't be soon.

This mod is a collection of tools useful for creating custom scenario maps. You can find them in their own section in the debug actions menu.

Tools for biocoding weapons and apparel.

Remove Research - Removes a single research.

Set Ideo tool now has access to custom ideologies.

Clean Area - Removes all filth in a rectangular area.

Generate Plants - Fills a rectangular area with plants. Choose a single plant, a selection of plants, or a whole biome. Note that this is a 4 step process using float menus, and can be unintuitive.
1. Choose "Single Plant" or "Biome."
2. Select plants one at a time. When you are done selecting plants, choose "end select" at the end of the list.
3. Choose the density.
4. Draw your rectangle. The rectangle will be populated with your chosen plants at the specified density.

Set Material - Sets any stuffable object to a given material.

Grow Plants to Maturity - Same as vanilla tool but in a rectangular area.

Make Dormant - Makes a mech, mech building, or insect enter dormancy.

Make Guard - Two step tool which allows the user to designate a building to guard, and then which pawns should guard it. The pawns will then behave as if they were insects around a hive, or mechs around a ship chunk. NOTE: This seems to work for Bugs and Mechs. It does not work on humans. When designating the area to guard, you must include an object such as a building or a rock chunk. They can't guard empty space.

Make and Remove Fog of War.

Make Apparel and Weapons - Choose the item, material and quality

Force Sleep - Puts a structure such as a mech capsule to sleep. This is step one for the next tool.
SpawnOnWakeup - Refils and re-activates structures such as mech capsules. This is how you can manually place such buildings for your scenario map, since the vanilla dev tool causes them to activate immediately upon being spawned.

The following vanilla tools have been modified:
Set Faction - Adds the hidden factions to the list, as well as adding the (rect) function to change the faction of many pawns/buildings at once.
Spawn meal with specifics - adds a step where food poisoning chance may be specified.

Designed and commissioned by Hirsuta and Swatacular.
Coding by Kaiser and Taranchuk.

AGAIN - THIS MOD IS NOT IN ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT. If you have issues, just try to get what use you can out of it. There may be an update in the future, but it won't be soon.

@TurtleShroom I'm organizing a PVP tournament using Zetrith's Multiplayer, and we play on custom maps. For details, check out Rimworld PVP on YouTube :)

What do you mean when you say Map making?

Hey guys, sorry, I didn't expect anyone to actually look at this. Just shared it so it would be easier to send to my map making buddies. I've updated the description with some more details.
