Springtrap

Emerging from the twisted world of Five Nights at Freddy's, Springtrap locks into Rivals of Aether! With the digital soul of William Afton infecting the battlefield, this green eared killer will make for a frightening foe.


Springtrap brings with him a variety of options for battle. Pulling from his own history, questionable marketing stunts from Fazbear Entertainment, and some powers from the Flipside, Afton is sure to use everything at his disposal to make his enemies suffer- like all who have stood before him!


Neutral Special - Jumpscare

With enough power collected from the agony of his opponents, Springtrap can charge a terrifying scream to make quick work of even the bravest of warriors. Be sure not to lose power, though- as being hit will cause Springtrap's battery to drain.

Springtrap has two versions of his jumpscare- a less powerful one he can dish out starting at 50%, and a much more frightening scare if he reaches 100%. Additionally, taunting the opponent will allow Springtrap to charge up to 15% at a time.

Side Special - Slasher

Emerging from the Flipside of FNAF World comes Adventure Springtrap, equipped with three knives given to him by the seemingly innocent Purpleguy. They aren't as random as they are in his home world, but they make for a reliable ranged attack!

Down Special - Counter Hack

With the press of a button, Springtrap can phase into his anomalous form Glitchtrap. If hit during the right window of time, Afton will vanish and make his comeback as the brutal Burntrap- hacking into the game's code and temporarily disabling his opponent's last attack with a powerful counterattack.

If nothing happens while Glitchtrap is active, he will instead turn into a digital plushie for a short moment- but only for a moment!

Up Special - Audio Call

By placing a mysterious cassette tape onto the stage, Springtrap can set an anchor for recovery when he needs it. Once he hears the sound of Balloon Boy's voice, Afton will vanish into static and re-emerge where the tape was placed. He can replace the tape at any time by holding on Up Special longer than normal, and teleport by simply tapping it.
